If the unlikely thing happens and Froch beats Ward in America, will you then cry?

 

Europe isnt a country dude, fighters pulling out helped ward as well, most things are in his favour, but if he clearly beats froch anyone will say he deserved to be the nr.1 guy at 168 at that point, simple as that.

If froch had all his fights in nottingham and ward was the one traveling fighting better opposition I would say froch was favoured as well, where he is from has little to do with it.
Showtime just wants the new champ to be an American, makes perfect sense from their point of view.

headbutt him and mess his face up...... ward not traveling was because he is American and they want him to win this tournament, if he did travel he might still would have won the fights, but in the end its all a set up to create the new American champion. Direll has a weak heart and nobody cares about him anymore. So ward was the obvious chosen one.
Its not done though, if ward gets floored by Froch and loses that fight he will be forced to travel if he wants to be a beltholder again.
He will be fighting at places where you dont even know where they are, with your bernard hopkins geography skills

 

I'm not european but it's blatantly obvious that Ward has been given advantages and priviledges throughout the whole tournament that the rest of the fighters haven't gotten. Ward's been babied to the finals and I hope Froch smashes him but I can definitely see Ward frustrating Froch to a UD win by illegal tactics (smart in my book if you don't get caught) and shoeshining with those feather fists to rack up pts.

 

I for one will not cry, just take my hat off to a better fighter who beat my Proud Humble Champion.. Simple as that.. If Carl Beats him, he earned it..:deal

Some of these people need a tissue for their issues.. Really its not like he fought cab driver of the month.. he fought a guy in Bika that most Euro's say gave Joe C a decent fight.. So why the outrage?

Dan Goosen was just being a hard ass in negotations he just showed his hand post negotiations on fight camp 360... thats what Promoters do.. they make deals happen by any means neccessary..

If anything it was Carl Froch manager at the Time Mick Hennessey and the Sauderland boys acting like children pre/post the Kessler Vs Froch fight.. and pre Froch vs Abrahamn...

As far as Sauerland is concerned I think the things is this: The Supersix is the brainchild of Wilfrieds son Kalle, and he was determined to make this tournament a reality. That's is clearly evidenced from the initial promotors meetings from the fightcamp series. Kalle tries to make quick deals with Goosen about the pursesplit giving a very generous offer including homefield for Ward.

It was clear that had Goosen not gotten homefield for Ward in all his fights, he'd not wanted to enter the s6 hence jeopardizing Sauerlands great idea.
