Pedroza schools Hamed. Only question is whether he stops him. Though he would definitely bust his balls

Interesting fight,Sas. And one that would be on a knife edge. All depends on whether or not Hamed fights smartly or recklessly. The former would see Nas just about edge Pedroza out on workrate. Much skill from both men would be brought to the fore in this one.
If,however,Hamed throws caution to the wind like he did at times in the Kevin Kelley bout,Eusebio stops him between the ninth and twelfth.

Pedroza presents issues for Hamed he never saw. If he thought Barrera was cagey and skilled, he's in for a really rough night against this guy.

Hamed gets underrated a bit H2H, but Pedroza is all wrong for him.

Pedroza schools Hamed even worse than Barrera did.

Pedroza wins a decision. It could turn real ugly with the fouls.

While the good life and complacency may have gotten to Hamed by 2001, I think Barrera was just a better fighter anyway. The mid to late 90s Hamed still had glaring flaws, look at how Medina kept consistently landing on him in his loss, or the guys who dropped him.

He was a very good fighter, but below guys like Barrera and Pedroza IMO.

For Hamed, the experience of fighting Pedroza, especially if it went 15 rounds, would be the equivalent of getting smashed head first into the corner turnbuckle in every round.

Hamed. Awkward style and he's faster then Eusebio.
Not to mention one punch power.

I was actually just watching Pedroza’s fights with Ford and Laporte. He should have been DQ’d against Laporte.

Pedroza was about half a foot taller than Hamed but I’m sure he would have still hit him with a lot of low blow uppercuts.
