I dont like Floyd Sr. but it isnt his fault he had a fighter that wasn't listening to him and didn't follow the gameplan they trained for. Hatton came in with a lot of nervous energy he wasn't calm he was wild and he paid the price for it.

Pretty good. Feint, move your head, keep your hands up. Dont fall in.

Problem is, I dont think Hatton could deal with southpaws. Manny was landing right hooks with his eyes closed. Hatton couldnt see it.

I too voted Pretty Good. Hatton abandoned everything Sr. was working with him on in camp. Head movement, defense, and setting up his punches rather than diving in.

He is saying move your head, use some feints, and don't try to over power him.

It was good advice but Hatton wasn't able to execute it.

The only advice he could have given Hatton to stop that conclusion was to say "Here mudda****a, its a gun, when it comes at you, shoot him with it"

That's not necessarily reflective of the quality of advice given.

I kinda think he failed failboat.jpeg style. It's like Rick just stepped off of the street and got in the ring completely unprepared.

I dont know what advice Mayweather Sr. was giving Hatton during training camp........but he gave him sound advice here.
...."move your head, feint him, dont fall in" then he goes on to say, " you should have listened to me from day 1."

One thing we do know is that there was alot of friction between Mayweather Sr. and Hatton during camp, so I would have to think that friction was from how each wanted to gameplan to fight Pacquiao.
Hatton just walked into the ring against Pac advancing in a straight line and just looking to overpower Pacquiao.

I have no doubt that Hatton envisioned he could just walk to Pacquiao and overpower him.

If Sr. cautioned Hatton into not making this mistake during camp, then he was right to tell Hatton what he did between rounds, "you should have listened to me from day one."
