At this point, where do you rank the following? If no specific placing, a range can suffice. 1) Manny Pacquaio 2) Floyd Mayweather, Jr 3) Juan Manuel Marquez 4) Bernard Hopkins 5) Roy Jones, Jr What do you think they should still accomplish (go up win weight, dominate a division. etc) or who they should still fight and beat (specific in giving the names of opposition) in their career to affect their ranking? Lastly, are these things (accomplishment, beat fighters) still possible at this point in their careers? Or we can say their placing is almost set in stone by now? Lengthy discussion, inputs, perspectives, or even arguments, are very much welcome.:good
I dont think Pac should be number 1, but thats just my oppinion. I would put it as this 1) B-Hop (hes 45 years old and hes still whacking guys younger than him, plus undisputed middleweight champion for 10 years I think. And he fought good opposition unlike that Calzaghe) 2) Roy Jones jr. ( for a time he was the face of boxing for his superior talent. P4P for a while and he went from middleweight straight to heavyweight and won a belt ) 3) Floyd Mayweather jr ( IMO he has beat more better people than pacquiao in all the weight divisions that hes been, plus hes been dominating longer than pac) 4) Manny Pacquiao ( People starting going ape**** about pac once he beat DLH, before that he was just a very good lightweight, super featherweight. And before that no one really knew about him. I cant put him up high because he hasnt been dominating as long as the top 3 boxers i put) 5) Juan Manuel Marquez ( not as good as morales or barrera but still good)
