Here is your classic Rocktard logic.

Take a 41 year old version of the hypothetical opponent, 16 years beyond the version actually suggested in the OP, to make a point that we are supposed to take seriously.

And again the "heart condition" Holyfield was a version 7 years beyond the version suggested in the OP. Seven years, or to make it relative, the length of Marciano's entire pro career.

Still, I pick Marciano based on his relative experience for this match-up.

I love Rocky but (assuming its the 1988 Deleon version of Holy) Evander wins this

If Holyfield was going to have an honest stab at capsizing Marciano he would need to be the 218lbs version; stronger and more experienced.

Still, at either weight, Holyfield's style may suffer; the fact he was neither a slugger or a boxer may destroy practical routes to victory. This versatility worked well against many fighters but Marciano would force him to slug with the better puncher and then not allow him to stand off when he liked to bounce around and consider his options. What was difficult to do against Qawi would be pure hell against Rocky.

OK Shameless IMO any version of Marciano and his short career would beat any version of EH in his long career (is he still fighting?) It would be a rugged war but EH has too much heart and the wrong style vs Marciano and I like Marciano by a stop in a war of attrition

"Shameless"? I guess Shecky Greene is your idea of high comedy.

I also like Rocky, in so far as the 1987 version of Holyfield, but sometime after that I am not so sure.
