I am re watching Holyfield Qawi I tomorrow night with my dad , he has never seen Holfield below heavyweight. Thanx for the DVD matey.:thumbsup
Y'all are sleeping on Lewis II, a pretty good fight. His efforts against Valuev(robbed) and Toney were good but not as good as he was in Lewis-Holyfield II. Amen. I love both fighter but there was WAY more wrestiling than fighting. There were about five good rounds but in between that was much more wrestling. I like it but it's overrated. For anyone in the US on eastern times, a sportscentury on Holy is on right now.
he could be very exciting. he could also not be. so, by that standard, he was exciting. as for what percentage of career was exciting, that is subjective. especially in boxing where some people highly enjoy defensive wizardry, and some enjoy haymaker hurricanes. i went and ruined it . but off just to mention.. Baby Joe Louis was much more exciting than his brother from another mother and father Joe Louis. also exponentially more than Holyfield. it just so happened he slept with all those judge's and ref's daughters and was never given a fair shake :-(, poor Baby Joe.
It's all good. I try not to question senior members of ESB. And it didn't really bother me. Now this last post by PoliSari.. I don't even want to know.
off topic but it seems holy fought everyone! i think only fighters he didn't fight from 90's are ruddock and morrison anyone else?
Holyfield didn't fight McCall either. Which probably would have been a fun fight, too. Most of his fights were fun to watch.
