And pretty accurate. When all is said and done, I do think that Wlad and Floyd will go down as two of the greatest fighters ever.

Tank sure beat the crap out of Holyfield in Holyfields last fight.

Povetkin blew it when he didnt' train hard and stay in shape, Huck hurt him many times. Vlad did mention fighting Wilder, then he will have to fight Pulev.

in my opinion on papaer povetkin is a good win....but when you actually look at his ability its nothing wlad hasnt seen and beaten before...

the only thing making this fight competitive is the location, who paid for it to be at this location and the fact that wlads 37 and been the champion for quite sometime...

That Povetkin is one of the best fighters out of a sorry lot is the only thing that makes this special. In a historical sense its not even a blip on the radar unless Sasha can Pull the upset.

Holyfield seeks controversy here. That's the only way he gets in the news. He is so wrong about this.

Nothing comes easy. Nothing routine in fighting a solid opponent like Povetkin. The fight is special in many aspects. The fact is that the purse was very high. No one would throw money for nothing.

The undercard is solid as well. The whole event shapes well. A big weekend ahead.

    :good

Holy is way past it and has been acting like someone who doesn't know when to leave the stage for many years now. Also acting like a sour grapes loser :| He's only looking like a fool :silly now.

So b/c Wlad has dominated his bouts since Manny became his trainer, nothing he's done is special :huh :-(

By that standard none of the previous HW champs really did anything special. Pov is a very good HW. That most think he will lose does not diminish Wlad's potential accomplishment !

It's a pity Holyfield gets viewed in this particular light. He ranks higher than Wlad, literally has fought everyone over four decades 80's, 90's, 00's and 2010's. Yet posters are trying are trying to belittle him here; 'He just wants a payday' etc.

    Seriously fuck off.

Foreman has been quoted in the German press as saying Povetkin could beat Wlad and the time is right for a new Heavyweight Champion.

I suspect it's more a case of the promotion team / press getting great fighters of the poast to comment to build up the fight. Their opinions carry a big more weight than a bunch of imternet posters.

thinking was never holyfields strong suit. years of steroid abuse and brain damage from boxing won't have improved his intellect. he also had a less than sterling record against the top flight fighters he fought.
