Vitali already said long ago he won't fight Holyfield because he has too much respect for him to fight him beyond shot like that. Don't expect him to agree now even if he has no options.

You must have taken more shots than he has.

Vitali has never been down, not to mention, Evander aint a puncher. He was the KING of CPing, but how is he gonna counter jabs and str8s.

I might take Holy for a UD if he effectively CPd and hit Vitali clean for 12 rounds, but his lean on and elbow style wouldn't work against the massive Vitali. So, that said, Vitali by late KO a prime Holyfeild.

As for a fight in 2010. Sick. Just plain sick.

I love Holyfield, and respect his legacy, but he hasn't looked great since the first Tyson fight(didnt see much in the rematch).
His fights against Byrd, Ruiz, Rahman were basically leaning fests, with not much effective CPing like in his earlier years.

Yeah boxing should have mandatory neurological exams, which wouldn't cost too much (a couple hundred$$s). scans a little more but should be considered in cases like holyfield

He'd get his butt kicked. He wasn't looking too great against Botha before the white hippo gassed out. And the main reason I thought he beat Valuev wasn't because Holyfield looked so great, but because Valuev just wasn't throwing punches, as if he was afraid of hurting the legend.

It's unfortunate that he got shafted in Germany when he fought Valuev for the WBA trinket. His goal was denied so he fights on but the guy should stick to taco bell commercials and get in on some endorsement action alongside of that or something but I would hate to think he gets seriously hurt in the ring because of his age. If he hangs it up, it won't be so bad. He's a shoe-in for the HOF.

Just spoke with Evander's nephew who I grew up with and he said this is 100% BS Holyfield is not looking for a Klitschko fight.

what about for the first half of 2011? It appears i may have mashed together a lot of the news but regardless of if he plans on fighting Vitali now, next year, tomorrow, he shouldn't do it.

Joe Louis arena is being looked at, opponent to be named. My mistake for condensing **** together. I think i brainfarted out of shock that he would be ever considering a fight with a Klitschko. His manager said he got WBC president Sulaiman (**** that guy) to promise that he would sanction a fight between them first half of '11. On The Scene.
