Joe louis would murder Holyfield, there is a slew of things that Holyfield doesnt do that Joe did he didnt do what Joe did and more ! Holyfield did less than what Joe did!

It incredible that Louis was ever knocked down or even given difficult fights let alone beaten.

Galento, Braddock, Baer, Walcott, Conn, Harry Thomas, etc etc. They are all obviously light years better heavyweights than Holyfield, who gets "murdered"

yea all the names holy fought was were less skilled then the ones joe beat and big names yet nobody ever talks on those
yea those names is big names that was known for skills haaa

trolls like sam grant and others is so funny joe stuggled with people who had no movement or skill but beats holy

none of those dudes joe fought would beat or give holy a tough match they wouldnt give a tough match to people like bert or others who fought holy

After seeing someone calling Bert Cooper a better fighter than Louis opponents, I've seen it all!

Joe would even get beat by amateurs nowadays
He is clearly better than most. Louis fought mostly bums.

Louis fought 31 fighters who were currently ranked in the top ten.

That is twice as many as any heavyweight champion, excluding Ali and Holmes.

If he fought mostly bums, then every other heavyweight champion must be irredeemable!

As much as I practically worship Ali, and consider him both h2h and all time #1 ATG heavyweight, I never argue with people who pick Joe Louis. Louis's combinations were both fast and powerful, and his ring intelligence and heart are unquestionable.

If Ali never existed, it would be a no-brainer for most people with any kind of years-based knowledge of boxing to pick Louis as the Greatest: he was absolutely sensational.

Both he and Ali should be on the top 10 of ANY pfp ATG list imo, and they're the only two heavies who totally belong there.
