He is probably referring to guys like Henry Armstrong when there was only one belt per weight class

Im guessing by undisputed you mean guys who held all 3 major belts at once in the WBC/WBA/IBF era

It's a weird line in the sand to draw. I mean Ray Leonard was undisputed in 2 classes.

By definition, no fighter has ever won an undisputed title. But some have won two or more generally recognized world championships...

The moment someone challenges an alleged 'undisputed' champion, they are 'disputing' the champion's claim, and thus the champion is no longer 'undisputed'...

The term 'Generally Recognized World Champion' is a much better term, as it rises above the literal meaning of 'undisputed', it is more flexible than 'lineal' and does not need alphabet crap...

Anybody who held titles in two weight classes when there was only one title per weight class, should qualify.

If there is only one title and you hold it, it is hard to see who could dispute it.

No, I am referring to the 'Generally Recognized World Champion'; no other spin is needed!

I think Henry Armstrong was a recognized champion in THREE weight classes at ONE time - something which is no longer permitted in boxing.
