And the wba had stripped him as well. Still never did holyfield win the wbo belt at heavy, so we're down to none.

Hagler still had claim to lineage when Leonard beat him and the WBO title was not considered as relevant when Evander was winning titles.

Just looked at that link, it doesn't make sense. The way I see it if your champ and there are no other claimants then you are undisputed.

What's the difference between undisputed and lineal? Is there a difference? Because if they're the same thing, then a LOT of fighters have been undisputed in 2 weight classes.

Lineal is being the man who beat the man passed down by a violent lineage. Undisputed is holding all recognised major world title belts.

So wouldn't you say then that Harada when he beat Kingpetch, the lineal champ and man who was holding all recognised major titles at the time would be considered undisputed at flyweight? (All in this case being one)

i think he beats shuemov in 2 weeks in a IBF/WBA unification bout and i think he beats WBC/Ring/lineal champion stevenson after that.

given the network feuds and promotional differences he may not fight wbo champion kovalev . he has recently said he doesnt recognise the wbo because its the newest belt. so i think he may actually retire but then he has also said "i may be saying i wont fight the wbo champion in the future but im not tellin you what i am really planning" to paraphrase.

shumenov has 15 pro fights. stevenson turned pro in 2006 and tenses up and loads up on shots. kovalev is off balance when he throws. bhops ring IQ may carry him to victory.

I did hence my terming it arbitrary. 2007 is late to consider the wbo a part of the big boys, and 1983 is a little early to consider the ibf a major player.
