Adamek is all wrong for Holyfield stylewise. Arreola would be much better opponent for Holy at this point.

holyfield did fight very old versions of foreman and especially larry holmes. failing to truly impress.

i know, holyfield is even older at 47. but on paper, you could say it's OK because he lost closely to valuev. many hysterics on the internet actually cried robbery, having holyfield an easy winner.

Holyfiled is done, but he was able to outbox Valuev, and if not robbery, he would have been HW champion at the age 46

Its not crying. I didnt favor any fighter in that fight and gave Holyfield 6 rounds. I gave 3 rounds to Valuev and 3 rounds I had even. If you force me not to score even rounds, then I wouldnt give all 3 to Valuev, so still Holyfield winning.

**** it...Adamek has been in enough battles to take an easier fight and make some money. Other than the Golota fight, Adamek hasnt taken an easy fight in years and has been in more wars in his career than nearly anyone still in the game right now. He deserves to get compensated for this, let him retire Holys old ass.

That being said... i dont think holy will be as easy as we think it will, but i still think adamek will win.

I think that Golota fight wasnt THAT easy, as it was his first HW fight. You probably forgot about Bobby Gunn, who was unable to land single punch on Adamek.

Ahh yes your right. I guess Golota fight wasnt supposed to be that easy, but adamek made it look easy. The gunn fight your correct, I believe he took that one just to stay busy at cruiser, but your right.

Let the man get his $$...He more than deserves it! I wonder how much he made for Arreola

I agree. It was a close fight but Holy should have won it, at worse a draw. It just shows that Valuev is "o v e r r a t e d".

    Adamek by TKO

Would much rather see Adamek vs Haye.

Why would you care whether Adamek makes a lot of money off of an "easy win" over Holyfield. As a boxing fan, I would think you like other posters would want a good HW fight. Beating Holy at this stage will do little to answer some of the nay sayers about Adamek.

because adamek has a certain status, and could be the "star" of a big event in polish boxing. holyfield will be easy, but adamek has had many hard fights. there was no money for good fights at cruiserweight so adamek deserves to make an easy payday up at heavyweight.

look at mayweather. he was going to fight 19 yo saul alvarez in mexico, or matthew hatton in england. it would not be competitive, but the fights would sell in certain parts of the world, mayweather would make some decent money, and it would be an interesting event rather than a fight. if you're a fan of a fighter you'll probably watch him vs anyone.

the real fights will definitely keep on coming, now that adamek is an HBO fighter. polsat may pay him to fight holyfield, but HBO certainly won't!

Adamek would dominate Holyfield at this point. I was hoping Holyfield would retire now that he won that WBF trinket of a belt.

Adamek should fight Sam Peter. It is the same fight was Arreola except Peter has less skills but a better chin. Peter is also slower and has the biggest name of anyone on that list.
