    Who wins and why?

I think Holyfield because an out-of-prime version of Holyfield gave a prime Lewis 2 close fight and arguably won the 2nd time, so imagine a prime Holy.

    Lewis SD.

In the first fight Holyfield wasn't as far from prime as people tend to make out, infact the HGH running through his veins would have helped him.

Oh, and the first fight wasn't close at all and even though the second was Lewis still took it in the majority of peoples eyes.

Put both in on their best nights and Lewis wins. The mans 2 losses came via two huge punches, the kind of one punch power Holy doesn't have.

I think Holyfield was a good 7 or 8 years past his prime, but maybe Lewis was past his best too ?

I'd expect a Holyfield win, on points. He'd be a little bit too busy for Lewis, he'd outwork him.

I give Ali a clear UD, Holmes 50/50, Foreman 50/50, and Tyson 50/50 with prime Lewis, I don't think I'm being unreasonable with Evander since in his prime I view him lesser than those guys.

3 people so far have Evander by KO, I'd like that explained.
He doesn't have the one punch power and Lewis was never susceptible to flurries.

How can you have Foreman vs Lewis 50/50. Foreman lifted Frazier off the ground with a uppercut.

Foreman hit harder than Rahman and McCall put together times 150 000.

Lewis gets KO by the 70s Foreman early.
Holmes wins a clear UD over Lewis.
Tyson ends it faster than Foreman.
Holyfield wins a UD based on more punches thrown and landed and better work rate.
Ali vs Lewis is a no contest.

Lewis would beat Heavyweight champions like Marvin Hart and Herbie Hide.

Tell me who you think would win if Lewis fought these fighters:

    Prime Bowe
    Prime Dempsey
    Prime Louis
    Prime Johnson
    Prime Charles
    Prime Walcott

I like Evander to win a close decision. Younger Evander would do less grappling and make Lewis fight more. I see the fight looking a lot like lewis' fight with Mercer

    holyfield by decision
he proved he wasn't going to get knocked out and since he fought a very close fight with a prime lewis i think he will be able to win a very hard fight with him

I regard that Lewis is MUCH better than Bowe ever was. I pick Lewis UD.

It would be the same as when they did fight pretty much, Lennox was no spring chicken when they fought anyway and he pretty much bossed the action.

Which version of Holyfield is supposed to beat Lewis? The version who was nearly ko'd by Cooper? The version who was beat by the inferior Bowe? The version who got outboxed by Moorer?

I picked Holyfield by decision.. I think the fight would mirror Holyfield-Foreman but more competitive, Holyfield was slick and light on his feet in his prime and I think he would out box Lennox. Evander might have to be the aggressor which means he would eat some of the long shots of Lewis but he will score enough combos to win on points...

Its interesting to note in Evanders book he believes he won both fights.

I think a prime Lewis would beat any Holyfield and some if he met him during some of Evanders, less than stella prime performances , he would have stopped him Moorer 1, Cooper, Bowe 3.
Whereas Holy nver had the one punch power to stop Lennox and Lennox would not be stopped by a flurry of punches
