He can certainly dish it out but could never take it. A feminine quality that gets the better of him to this day.

 

What other punchers did he avoid? He passed on Ruddock to fight Holyfield. He was chomping at the bit to fight Foreman. A fight with Tyson never materialized. Moorer? Mercer? Bruno?

 

Bowes lack of discipline fight after fight eliminates him from ATG status. He was lazy, did not want to train and. His performance suffered because of it.

At his best if he could make a fight inside against Lewis it would be his best chance. I don't see this happening and in an outside fight Lewis would dominate with a more educated jab out boxing and busting Bowe up before finally ending the bout in round ten.
