No, I don't think he is. Cruiser king an top 1 or 2 at the weight ever, then you got what he done at heavy. Spinks isn't better h2h or p4p imo

Would love to read this interview if you ever come across it again. I had no idea that M Spinks ever entertained the notion of a comeback.

My pick is Holyfield. Who did Mike beat other than a faded Larry Holmes who IMO lost to Carl Williams and barely survived Tim Witherspoon?

Holyfield held his own with Tyson, Douglas, Bowe, Lewis

I see Evander roughing him up, softening him slowly with body shots, and sending Mike to the canvas once or twice to seal the deal on points.

IMO, Holyfield by late stoppage. Michael might keep it interesting early until Evander put his Warrior Cap on.

Holyfield by a clear decision. Spinks would hold his own early, but Holyfield being naturally bigger and stronger would wear down the jinx.

I question that too. Personally I don't think so. And at Heavyweight Holyfield ko's Spinks , possibly earlier than one may think.
Holyfield probably doesn't pole axe Spinks the way Tyson did. But I don't see it going more 7-8 rds.

Holyfield stops him but Spinks lands good some leather while it last

I think Spinks gets a touch overrated as a Heavyweight, and for me he was no real great shakes there.

Can't knock his first win over Holmes too much, but Holmes did look (and was) a faded fighter in there. I thought Spinks got a pretty dubious verdict in the rematch, which I've never been able to score in his favour. After that he beat a relative non-entity in Tangstad, went for some easier money against Cooney rather than a tricky defence against Tucker - and topped it off by going out like a lamb against Tyson.

One of the elite greats at 175, but not much more than serviceable north of that, for me. I think Holyfield wins this with something to spare and I see him stopping Spinks eventually.

In the heavyweight division, Holyfield wins. In the Cruiserweight category, especially in 190lbs (Holyfield boxed in that category), I would give Jinx a much bigger chance. Michael Spinks weighed just 199lbs when he only deservedly beat Holmes.
    200lbs+ Holyfield win
    190lbs- Spinks wins
    190-200lbs that's a real question, can't decide :)
