Who wins this evened out version? At heavyweight Holyfield used ‘modern nutrition’ to get to the mid 210s early 220s, but without that at 190lbs, a fairer fight, obviously Marciano technically fought at the unlimited heavyweight limit, but always weighed a bit under 190lbs, so he would have been fighting at 190lbs crustier if it was around.
    Who wins this matchup?

Holyfield weighs 190? This is a great fight,,,I'm reluctant but I'll take Evander and not confidently. Marciano was never in the ring with someone so young , strong who could box. But I'm completely open to the argument that Rocky grinds him down over 15

The best heavyweight version of Holyfield in terms of speed, power, skill an durability was the 208 pound version that fought Douglas an Foreman when he was 28 or 29. I’ve no doubt that Holyfield was have beaten Marciano handily over 15.At 190 that’s harder to say. At 190 you could say that Holyfield was just as good a fighter as he was as heavy weight with more speed an faster combos an he would still have a slight size an weight advantage over Marciano but Marciano was just relentless no matter who he fought an a harder puncher than anyone Holyfield ever faced at 190. Still I probably go for a Holyfield with his more eye catching combos to batter his way to 15 round split decision win after a brutal war that really could be scored either way

Skillswise, it's all Holyfield here. All he has to do is box and move and he wins. So probably 50-50.

I think Holy from the Qawi rematch onward beats Marciano.

    Holyfield KO3.

Too much speed, too good a combo thrower, too good a chin, too fundamentally sound, too good an athlete, too much reach, too much heart (though I don't think he'd need to dig that deep)... this would be rather humiliating.

Holyfield win s if he uses his head (to think), but there's a danger if he gets drawn in to a battle.
    Intresting fight.

Marciano by KO. Better stamina and power will catch up to Holyfield. Qawi and Rocky r far more similar then many would admit except Rocky has much better power in each hand and is more relentless. Evander was great to watch offensively but his defense was always lacking. Against Marciano that’s an early KO

Rocky exhibited better stamina against lightheavies and old men who couldn't provide near the resistance of a Holy. It will be an early KO, you are at least right on that.

Going tentatively with Marciano here on the strength of Holyfield’s inexperience, but it’s a real handful for both men. I don’t see any version of Holyfield ever handling Marciano easily though, this one included.

Yeah…light heavies that were the best all time w arguably better records at hw then Holyfield, and more accomplished under 200 then Holy as well. Evan fields will get tired and Rocky will put him to sleep. 9 round KO

There is a decent comparison to be made with an ageing Charles & a somewhat green Holyfield. Marciano beat Charles both times out but didn’t do it easily. I’d say on the strength of those fights picking him or Holyfield would be reasonable.
