Johnson circles and jabs. Long sticks his chin up high and looks down his nose at Johnson, confidently thrusting his own jab out at the slowly-moving target. Johnson stays on the outside and pushes Long back with a long 1-2. Long feints with a few jabs and gets Johnson to flinch. Apparently satisfied with that minor coup, Long goes back to standing on the outside doing nothing with hands at hips. Johnson jabs his way in and lands a right hand. Another right. Long is checking the clock, bored. Lead right from Long, and he sucks some wind. Johnson jabs him in the face.

Round 8

Johnson slips almost hyperactively, even though Long is doing little feinting and even less punching. Johnson lands a double jab and brings his left back very low and sighs deeply, chest heaving. Long gets himself backed into a corner and is rocked by a quick left hook - where has that been all Johnson's life? Long has turned his body cheated to the right, trying to defend like Mayweather. KNOCKDOWN from a jab! Long's in a heap but somehow gets himself back on his feet without the use of a crane. He lands a nice jabs and moves. Johnson pushes him into a corner and lands some loud, heavy punches. Long is down again. Johnson misses a vicious hook as Long leaps backward. Long tries to clinch with his back to the ropes and spanks Johnson with a low right hand to the body.
