Round 2

Johnson circles and jabs, and does a bit of a shuffle. :-( Long is getting lit up and Johnson isn't even looking that sharp.

 

Lewis: I would like to think I have two wins over him.
Bernstein: Well, most people think you did.

Round 3

Johnson is walking Long around the ring, barely working but outboxing Long thoroughly. Long is getting his face jabbed in as he lumbers away, and has virtually every one of his telegraphed shots blocked or slipped with ease (and with Johnson still looking like molasses). Johnson does his little slide-away move where he turns his lefts hand out and uses it to push off for space rather than as a jab. Johnson lands a flush right hand, and a flush hook moments later. Long comes alive just before the bell with a spirited flurry but can't get anything damaging to land clean.

 

Round 4

Johnson menaces with his jab, taking big steps to his left (at a snail's pace). Johnson is keeping his left hand very low, disrespecting Long's jab and literally just walking through it/catching it in the crick of his neck. Long drapes himself over Johnson against the ropes. They break on ref's orders and Johnson tees off (so to speak, as much as you can tee off with lazy ponderous punches) as Long himself leans back against the ropes and runs the risk of spilling out over the apron. Long follows Johnson across the ring and lobs bombs. Johnson lays on the ropes as Long walks into him and smothers him with man boobs, which KJ inadvertently motorboats while trying to turn his head to either side.
