I agree completely re the other guys. He gives prime Holmes a hell of a fight though.

Oh Evander would win. But I think it could be highly entertaining

I meant that I think it has the possibility to be a horrible fight, but also has the possibility to be an entertaining one.

It would have to be on the right night. Say the Holy who fought Dokes and the Smith who charged out of the gate to attack Witherspoon and Weaver. I would go through a family sized bucket of popcorn in like ten minutes

Yeah, that would have been good. But then, in the event that the more passive Holyfield that comes out against an old Larry Holmes vs. the Bonecrusher Smith who fought a declining Larry Holmes. Not a good fight at all imo.

Yeah they’d have to be in the right mindset. Another great one would Frank Bruno vs Evander

I like this. I'd love to see him fighting Weaver, Bruno, Spoon etc. We know that the Real Deal lived for a good scrap. He'd have won against most imo but some would be really entertaining as hell.

If its the best version of all these guys, imho he´d drop one or two like he did Moorer.

Holyfield vs. Spinks at 190 or either a 199 catchweight would be boxing on the absolute heighest level. What a bout that would be.

At HW my favorite would be the best version of Witherspoon or maybe the Truth Williams who battled Holmes.

He'd beat them all in one offs. Now one after another, I don't know if he was consistent enough.

I was thinking he'd drop about 2. Maybe to someone unexpected

Oh yea it’d all be so exciting. Makes me wish it was Holyfield instead of Tyson

A few years ago I posted a thread on a 1980 Mike Weaver vs a 1990 Evander Holyfield. Evander would win of course but this would be a dream fight for me. Two guys both 28 years old, comparably sized, extremely fit and ripped, both with power, stamina to go 15 and the guts to mix it up.
