Ok, I know everyone is going to say he juiced and headbutted his way to victory, but just forget that for a second.

Holyfield times Tyson exquisitely. Every time he waited for Mike to throw first and countered brilliantly.

Everytime Tyson threw the right, Holy ducked under and nailed him with his own right.

I've never seen Tyson get bullied so much in the ring. Evander pushed him around and leaned on him and generally bullied him.

Also this Tyson was far more dangerous than the version Lewis fought, but admittedly less dangerous than peak Tyson.

This is why I think even peak Tyson would struggle with Holy, who just had the chin, the experience, the style and the ring generalship to frustrate Tyson.

Holy was a huge underdog for this fight, most people thought he would get killed. He got caught in the 1st few seconds of the fight but unlike most of Mike's opponents he wasnt scared of him & didnt crumble. Holy just refused to be bullied or intimidated & Mike gradually fell apart. The right hand he nailed him with near the end of the 10th is one of my favourite ever punches.

    I love Holy (homo)

This was the 3rd time they agreed terms to fight, the 1st bout was scheduled after the routine defence against Douglas. Before the 2nd Mike was arrested on a **** charge.

Evander was on EPO Hormones/Steroids when he fought Tyson and everyone at HW.

Mosley also used the same EPO Hormones that Evander used.

Hopkins is also using those same EPO Hormones.

After that fight, Tyson ceased to be a World class boxer, and was merely a World class puncher, with great athletic talent. IMO.

Lots of circumstantial evidence but he never failed a test.

On February 28, 2007, Holyfield was anonymously linked to Applied Pharmacy Services, a pharmacy in Alabama that is currently under investigation for supplying athletes with illegal steroids and [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Growth_hormone"]human growth hormone[/ame] (HGH). He denies ever using performance enhancers.[33]
Holyfield's name does not appear in the law enforcement documents reviewed. However, a patient by the name of "Evan Fields" caught investigators' attention. "Fields" shares the same birth date as Holyfield—October 19, 1962. The listed address for "Fields" was 794 Evander, Fairfield, Ga. 30213. Holyfield has a very similar address. When the phone number that, according to the documents, was associated with the "Fields" prescription, was dialed, Holyfield answered.[34]
On March 10, 2007 Holyfield made a public announcement that he would be pursuing his own investigation into the steroid claims in order to clear his name.[35]
Holyfield was again linked to HGH in September 2007, when his name came up following a raid of Signature Pharmacy in Orlando, Florida.[36] As of September 2007[update], Signature Pharmacy is under investigation for illegally supplying several professional athletes with steroids and HGH

(after the moorer fight) When he went to the hospital to have his shoulder checked, he was diagnosed with a heart condition, and had to announce his retirement from boxing. It would later surface that the chairman of the medical advisory board for the Nevada State Athletic Commission believed his condition to be consistent with [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HGH"]

EPO and Steroids are completely different things. EPO has nothing toi do with hormones.

And yes,the beating Holyfield gave Tyson was a site to behold.

Call me a Tyson-Holy 1 hater but I think it's one of the most overated fights. A bunch of hugging/wrestling and occasional headbutts from both men. Few exchanges were good and that was a great win for Holyfield but people say it's a "war", I don't really see it. Tyson/Ruddock fights and Holy/Bowe trilogy were wars(even despite lowblows in Tyson/Ruddock 2 and fanman from Holy/Bowe 2). I'm not hating, Holy did his thing and his hugging/wrestling was effective because Tyson didn't know how to fight going back but still the fight was rough on the eyes most of the times. A shame the rematch ended the way it did it really could've been one of the best fights ever.
