the one match i still want to see! man, bummer we missed out on that dream match, I still think a couture/fedor fight would do huge numbers on PPV.

Looks Randy is happily retired, good for him seeing that even now I think he has the best shot of beating Fedor at this point.

I have no interest in it anymore. Both appear are past their best and no longer the 2 best heavies out there. The time has come and gone unfortunately.

That's true. Might still pull in good numbers though, and be a good payday for both legends. It wouldn't be the first time Randy's changed his mind

No way Couture should still be fighting top fighters, this Couture "on last fight" talk needs to stop, he has hung around way too long.

plus movies make randy more money than fighting. plain and simple, he goes where the money grows.

Fedor would've destroyed him. This isn't a match that's much of a "I wonder what would happen?" scenario.

Or if Fedor has accepted a career-high payday to fight in the UFC.

And Fedor vs Couture in the cage in 2007 would have been a very winnable fight for Couture. Indeed I'd favour him to win it.

YES the UFC is known for paying high salaries to fighters........ Coture quit the UFC because of his **** salary and the only reason he came back is because the UFC threatened to sue.

Fedor doesn't need the UFC and Coture doesn't need to prove anthing... the fight yould be a circus.

Sigh. Sorry I forgot that to pick any fighter against Fedor is to claim Fedor is no good and a hypejob.

And Couture was found to have been lying about the size of that salary. Indeed one of the reasons he was unhappy with his was the size of the rumoured offer to Fedor.

Fedor is in another league to Couture, your pick is Couture fanboyism. Face it, when he was on top, it was because most of the best competion was fighting in Pride. His wrestling is very good, but to say he could ride that to being the best HW in the world is rabid speculation imo
