You say that like people who think Floyd will win are the delusioned ones. But I dont know about in the USA but in the UK all the book makers have Mayweather as the favourite (if only just) do you perhaps think its the people who think Pacquiao is he favourite that are delusioned?

Also that 2nd round should have proved how good Floyds chin is even if Pac does manage to land clean but some delusioned fans are using it to mean the opposite! I predict the fight will be very similar to the Mosley and Marquez fights but with Pacs style I predict a TKO. Just look how much damage an overtrained Cotto inflicted.

I have already put £100 on a Mayweather TKO and I am not even worried about it.

He isnt gonna knock Pacquiao out, but he will definately win a clear decision. Every Floyd fight isnt the same, you think he gonna fight Pac like he fought Mosley? You must be crazy.

i dont think that either man will knock the other out.
whomever you like or whomever you hate- you have to acknowledge these are the two best fighters we ve seen for the past 30- years in the lower weight classes. when two guys are that good, and that evenly sized- there is rarely a knockout. i think that with the two of them- there will be a lot of mutual respect in the ring- and that both of them could be more cautious than carefree- and that might lead to a chess match. neither man wants to be knocked out more than they want to knock out the other guy , so to speak. i think its such a big big event, such a big fight- that this may play out in a way that is anticlimatic.

in any case, its a fight i need to see , ive been waiting , we all have, for 3 years for this, and longer for a fight of this quality to come up . this ll be great. believe me- nothing would make me happier than to see pac smash up mayweather and shut him up for good, but i dont think it will be that easy. ..... for either man.

pacs workrate actually increases deep into fights lately, and he s been known lately to relentless pursue and attack until his opponent tires and starts to wane. we saw that with oscar and cotto, and morales and diaz. not that floyd has ever tired in his life, but if pac can force the tempo, and make floyd fight his fight- then pac can slowly break floyd down late.

    thats a big if.

i dont think how long the fight goes will have any bearing. i think it has to do with how fast or slow the fight goes. who s tempo will reign. if its floyds pace, a chess match- then it ll be a long nite for pac. if pac can make the fight his pace- fast and active, and make floyd throw and slip alot of punches himself- then i think pac has a great chance to win.

floyd throws 40 punches a around and lands around 16-25 depending. manny throws 100 a round and lands around 30. whoever gets to fight their fight- and make the other fighter comply, will win.

if somehow they both happen to fight their fight, and let the other man fight their own fight- then what we ll have is a controversial decision - where taste will come into play, activity and aggression, over selectiveness and accuracy. workrate against precision. thats something the judges will decide - and will be somewhat like hagler leonard in that case.

those are the only 3 ways in which the fight can unfold.

Floyd owns him and Pacquiao's lack of defence will prove costly!

I'm with Chekka man. No disrespect to Pacquiao, but you'd have to be blind with hate not to see how superior Mayweather is to Pacquiao.

Floyd is gonna school Pacquiao. The first 2 rounds showed that Floyd can take a hayemaker from a bigger, stronger fighter with no problems. Mosley tried to get him out, but he realized that Floyd wasn't really all that hurt. Floyd was stunned briefly, but almost immediately he began to block, hold, and fire back to get Shane off of him. Within a few seconds after the punch, he was walking down Shane.

I am confused on how Mayweather will try to fight Pac. Maybe use his baldomir style.

sensei...pay no attention to this pudgy mexican poster....do a search...this guy claims to be a boxing fan....and made a post a few days before shane/floyd saying that he wasnt going to watch it....the guy is a joke and has a major axe to grind against floyd...either that or hes got the falice of the "mexicutioner" lodged firmly in his butthole
