how young are you wanting ?

to me PRIME is more IMPORTANT than YOUNG is it NOT ?

crocrop waz in his PRIME and destroying top fighterz on his way to facing and getting beatin by fedor, randleman waz also in hiz prime, so waz big NOG witch if ur the MMA expert that you claim you should be aware that when fedor faced BIG NOG, big nog had a aura of invinsibility to him as he had earned it in the ring against everyone he faced before he ran into fedor and soaked up so much punishment in those fightz im sure therez still a lasting effect to this day mentally and physically and big nog is still pretty dam good in the ufc after all these yearz. letz not forget that ALL the UFC etc CHAMPz of today are as GOOD as they are RIGHT NOW because of ONE THING,,,,,

they all LEARNT from fedor and big nog by witnessing their incredable fighting stylez in the ring. just as brock got shown by mir in their first fight that even the BEST of GROUND and POUNDERz are beatable if they dont know ALL the LATEST TRICKz of the TIME

in a real situation mir would of disabled brockz knee or whatever brock tapped over and then mir would have killed brock dead as brockz knee would of been disabled. we know this because it was brock himself that could feel the UN-NATURAL pain in his leg SCREAMING at him telling him that if he did not SUBMIT right there and then part of his own body waz going to break. thus he tapped to save himself from that PAIN and so he could FIGHT another day

however as fightz to the death arent allowed on pay per viewz that never happened so the result is that brock instead of being dead getz a brand NEW CHANCE to fight mir with the KNOWLEDGE that he gained in the ring LOOSING to mir

the thing is that the prime of PRIDE dayz back a decade ago or so getz alot of over hype and this is annoying to alot no doubt. however that doesnt change the TRUTH that all the TOP MMA fighterz of today were learning many of their CRAFTz from the high level of fighterz and the high level of those fighterz TRICKz of the TRADE.

the great fighterz of today are therefore CONNECTED to the great fighterz of yesterday by witnessing all those fightz and having the PROOF to clearly say to themselvez, "oh shyte i guess i better NOT try doing that in my next fight, holy shyte LUCKY i KNOW that NOW!!!"

as far as YOUR MIRROR dont forget that your image doesnt LAST in the reflection once you stop looking in it

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Man you are a complete ******, Arona was close to winning this fight but he didn't and that is why Japanese judge are ALOT ****in better then any american ******, they are able to understand who is dominating, even if Arona was on top for most of the time, he DIDN'T DO **** except holding Fedor on the ground.

I can give you he won the first round, he was more dominating, tried to pull some sub, but wasn't able to complete any(1 RNC attemp, and several arm lock, but for the arm lock he wasn't even able to cath the arm for more then 3 second).

Second round is Fedor all the way, Arona was just trying to take Fedor down but other then that he didn't do ****, he tried 1 lame arm lock but that's pretty much it. He was on top for most of the time but didn't do any real damage and HE was the one stalling the fight, always going for the takedown and doing nothing on the ground

Fedor in the second round had him with an anckle lock and another neck choke, he reversed him a couple time and some GnP

And now the last round(bonus round) Arona was clearly gassed, tried at the beginning of the round several takedown attemp and missed them, finaly he was able to get Fedor on the ground and what did he do.....NOTHING, except holding him down.

Now here why Arona lost: He is a one dimensional fighter, he's got excellent ground game, no stand up, he tried to defeat Fedor on the ground, that was he's mistake all along. The only sub that could have worked was the choke in the first round, other then that FORGET ABOUT IT. He clearly lost, now maybe if the fight happened in the U.S. he would have won, but not in Japan because they are alot better judging close fight.

Now....Fedor is STILL UNDEAFEATED, even if you think otherwise, history book won't remember your useless opinion !

Yeah Fedor fought alot of freakshow, I can give you that, but we are talking about a guy that could easily cut weight to fight 205 and fought most of the greatest MMA fighter of our era. You can talk**** him all you want, but you can't name 1 human being that as done what Fedor did.

Just to be sure, if you want to name Brock Lesnar, just STFU and don't embarass yourself !

Fedor`s legacy as the greatest MMA fighter who ever lived is secure, very secure.... everything else is just icing, a loss will just let us know he is actually a human being instead of a fkn machine - which I suspect he could actually be.

I love Fedor, but it honestly sounds to me like you guys are preparing some ready made excuses in case he loses. It's silly, Fedor doesn't need that ****. No need for you to be sarcastic and over exaggerate. Fedor isn't old, and he is extremely professional.

    Fedor is only 33.

The Boxing Heavyweight Champ of the World is 34. Wladimir Klitschko isn't on the slide either, and he has been working his craft longer than Fedor.

These men are in their prime.

I like Fedor very much actually. All I am saying is that the thread starter is making excuses for something that hasn't happened.

By saying if Fedor loses that it doesn't mean anything, the OP is diminishing Fedor's run; the fact that Fedor has won so many fights despite all the little things that can go wrong for a fighter is a big part of what makes him great.

It sounds like the thread starter is getting in excuses for if Fedor loses because he is both too emotional and irrational to handle that, and he doesn't have faith in him for some reason.

    Of course I do.

Fedor is not past his prime, do you agree?

If not, do you not agree he is still very much close to it and not a "shot" fighter?

Or are you just so emotionally invested in him being the best for ever and ever no questions asked that if he were to lose one of his next few fights, which is unlikely, you would not be able to handle it and instead just use what you said in this thread to deny the reality that hurts your feelings?

he's CLEARLY past it...ive seen his last few fights..are u impressed??? cause im not..but then again ive been watching this man perform his craft for years..he hasnt PERFORMED that way for a few years..but..u dont see that do u?? u see the results..and thats it...

THATS the problem with stupid people folks...they live IN THEIR OWN BUBBLE and see things how they want to see it..its builds confidence..and theyre happy that way.. it makes there day go by faster and idiots like beeps NEED stuff like that...i know i know..quite pathetic huh? it is actually..but thats todays MMA fans people...ooops..i mean ufc fans..or strikeforce or whatever this idiot watches..

educated fans like myself NEED to teach people like this guy...

but how do u teach someone who cant be taught??

No he's past his prime , but he's still a solid fighter..Not shot (like Nogueira for instance)... But nowhere near as devastating as he was in 2003...

Yes he won his recent fights...But you can see the difference in his performances...He's noticeably slower..His stamina seems great though.. he's not a shadow of his former self (like crocop or nog)...But let's put it this way..we're in 2010...and he's not at 100% like he used to be a few years back.

Hopefully , he'll retire in time...But who knows..

How is he CLEARLY past it? Whatever physical quickness he may have lost, which doesn't appear to be much, he has gained more in strategy and technique. When did he lose it? What signs are there that he is any less effective of a fighter?

He used to not be able to knock guys out, know he does it all the time, his striking has gotten much more technically sound.

When did it become popular to call the greatest fighter in the world past it? Honestly, he is the universal #1 in the world and hasn't shown any weaknesses that haven't always been there; he still is going strong.

He definitely didn't show any weaknesses, same **** with no game plan against the fighters he knows he can beat. I know he had gameplan for CC and it was obvious. With Rogers, Arlovski and Sylvia he just went with the flow I think.
