Even if Floyd beat Pac, would he leapfrog Pac in ATG status?

I was considering this. Pacquiao's career and achievements greatly exceeds Mayweathers at this point. In my opinion I wouldn't consider Floyd to be ranked higher in terms of all time status unless he clocks up a few more impressive views.

Anyway... i will add a poll and we'll see what people think.

P.S. Sorry for another thread like this.... no disrespect to all the fights this weekend

No. The damage is already done. Floyd wasted many years of his prime post 135. Beating Pac doesn't change that nor does it erase Pac's accomplishments. The only way Floyd surpasses Pac is with a few great victories. Too bads Floyd lost his urge, doesn't believe in himself to face and beat guys MUCH bigger than himself as Pac did to solidify his greatness. Pac takes risks, Floyd (and his fanboys who feed his ego) assumes he'd win and therefore, doesn't need to take it.

Of course he would. But it has to be now. Not later, like he wants it, to make sure Pac has more and more wear and tear.

Right now, I rank Pac top 20 and Floyd top 40. That's too much to overcome for one fight.

What do you think of Mayweather's career at 140 and 147?

Common sense. Than again, perhaps William Joppy really is greater then Roberto Duran. Kostya Tszyu is greater then Julio Ceasar Chavez.

I hate how some aspects of boxing are so simple to some people...nothing simple about boxing.

Average. Well, at least at 147. Floyd's tenure at 140 might as well not even exist. He's done nothing at those weights that seperate him from any other champ.

Pac is already greater than Floyd. How does beating him make him greater? Did you think before you posted, or just fly like a ***** and allow your emotions to make it for you?

Next time, try posting a rebuttal rather then airing out your tampon.
