Even if Floyd beat Pac, would he leapfrog Pac in ATG status?

  1. TRUE , and he would have beaten marquez in any division , however the weight did make a difference in that marquez could not hurt floyd

No one would have dare said Pacquiao was close to Mayweather on an ATG list on December 1st, 2008. So, wins over de la Hoya and Hatton (whom both lost to Mayweather 18 months prior) and catchweight-ed Cotto, "punching bag" Clottey, and catchweight-ed not top 200 P4P "plaster gloves" Margarito, put him miles ahead of Mayweather? Get real folks... Save face before you look even more foolish 20 years from now.

and you're entitled to your opinion. but the names you're talking, while mayweather was sitting on his ass, the guys pac dominated, do those victories consitute stating pac is ahead of mayweather or WAY ahead of mayweather?

They add to it. That's what matters. You think anyone in their right mind (aside from Pacdbest) would have thought Pac would beat the guys he did? Heck no. That's the seller.

you do realize that pac was favored to beat a majority of those guys, right? think the last time he was an outright underdog was in the dlh, not exactly sure.

Yeah? Floyd was a fave over most of his as well. He'll likely be the betting fave if he faces Pac. What does that mean if Floyd wins? Nothing, like Pac's wins over guys he's favored over? :huh

if Floyd beats Manny...he most certainly should be ranked higher on the ATG list...I think he'd rather fight Mathew Hatton or re-match his baby mama before he signs the contract to fight Pac, though

the odds of a mayweather and pac fight will be very close, simply because you have two fighters who are both great. and hadnt been beaten in recent memory.

after pac ahnillated both dlh and hatton consecutively and more impressively the mayweather, it was then accepted that this maybe this best fighter of this era. so when he fights cotto, clottey and margo. he deferats very good fighters but none of the those guys are great fighters, as a guy like pac.

what does it all say, his resume is damn impressive, and better then mayweather's but does blow mayweather out the water. from a neutral standpoint, not completely.

Yes he was close or most likely on par with Mayweather on an ATG list on December 1st, 2008. By this time, he was already a 5-division champion, same as Mayweather. He already defeated the 3 Mexican ATGs by this time.

The last fight I predicted Pacquiao to lose was Marquez II. He was obviously going to beat all his opponents since then. Oh well, I suppose you thought Clottey and Margarito were going to beat him...

for sure it does, because if he beats pacman as convincingly as marquez, than we know for sure, that he is the greatest defensive fighter of all time, because he out classed the probably the greatest offensive fighter of all time.

I know what he's talking about you senile old fool. My point is that Marquez had to go in weightclass because he is the one who called out Mayweather and wanted the fight. The way he phrased it makes it seem like Mayweather is the one who called out Marquez but had him move up.
