Even if Floyd beat Pac, would he leapfrog Pac in ATG status?

Means Floyd is the Known Better fighter mostlikely nothing
Vegas Knows Floyd is the better fighter

    and honestly

You know Floyd is the better fighter and Floyd will win

again when this fight happens lance it will not destroy pacs accomplishment it just solidify Floyds greatness Because once again Floyd comes along and beat that guy that wooped everybody ass
but honestly there only 2 names on the resume thats missing cotto and margo but margo has been checked off by beating mosley who would beat margo if they put on gloves tomorrow and fought
cotto fight cant happen cotto is ruined
so beating Pac clears the air 2 birds 1 stone

I mean Floyd has done this Forever he beat guys that beat everybody
so he dont wear hiself out doing it himself.
Yall act like yall dont know
this backfired when zab lost to baldemere and lost that belt tho so floyd had to fight both lol

welp you guys have fun lol Floyd in 11 is coming from pac
Shane is the best boxer in the world but I will hoping he dosent beat pac lololololol Floyd and Arum will be commiting suicide
I know Floyd was pissed when margo beat cotto because the return was coming either way but everybody beat eachother until Pacman came

Floyd beating Pac should silent all critics who say he's duck top opponents. For one, Pac is ranked as the top in the sport and to be the best you must be the best. Floyd didn't accomplish as much as Pac did, but then again Pac didn't offically beat Floyd to gain the p4p spot to begin with. In Floyd situation all it takes is for him to beat Pac because he's dominated his entire career. To beat the top fighter, capture multiple titles in different weight classes and remain undeafeated while doing so is something that not even Pac has accomplished. So that should not only put him in the record book as a ATG, but also put him above Pac as a better fighter.

The defeat damaged him more than any actual infight physical damage.

He was never the same afterwards as proved even against Lazcano back down at 140 in his next fight, he was almost stopped, think his personal problems may have began after the PBF fight for sure.

Still goes against Floyd a bit as he defeated him at 147, not 140.

No one has beat prime Hatton at 140.

You mean, "we have someone on this forum who agrees with me!!!!"

Don't speak like it's fact. If you are unwilling to admit it is entirely opinion based, you are a fool.

IMO yes he would. Pacquiao is at the top of his game. People are saying that he is the GOAT, top 10 atg, and the greatest offensive fighter of all time. If Floyd was to come and beat him then where does that rank Floyd? Its not like Manny's resume is leaps and bounds over Mayweather. Pacquiao was fighter of the decade but Floyd was second. If Floyd didn't retire, he would have been fighter of the decade.

I hear you. I agree too. But that doesn't answer my question. If I am wrong, I apologize, but it seems like Pac beating guys he's favored to diminishes certain wins. Doesn't that apply to Floyd? And if so, how does that affect his legacy? Or any boxer? This whole "he was tailor made for him" **** that a lot of posters say about Pac's wins can be used with every single boxer who's ever boxed. it's something a lame politician might use, say something that SOUNDS good, but really carries no water.

Well I've been called worse by people better than you, but not everything in boxing is simply opinion.

For example the outcome of the Lewis - Vitali Klitschko fight was a TKO in the 6th for Lewis, that's a fact.

And while it may not be as factual that ATG boxers are determined by their entire record, it would hard to imagine a different way of going about it.

If you could beat a named fighter than Leon Spinks would rank a lot higher than he does, so obviously your whole resume has to be considered, not just who you fought in your career but where these fighters were in terms of their career path. (ie prime, peak, past prime, shot etc)

floyd is on top 40 IMO, if he beat pac, adding 1 really high rated future ATG in his resume im pretty sure 10 to 15 steps up ATG list is warranted. (That is if the fight happens NOW). if it happens when they are both above 35 of age i doubt it would affect floyd's status. :good

Really? That's your position? That 'some' act like it was Floyd who called him out? Fuuuck...I forget sometimes stupid kids make the biggest deals out of nothing.

The guy you replied was talking about the weight Floyd decided not to honor. And all you do is address who called out who. :patsch
