Even if legal why get injected with anything?

Nothing wrong with IV vitamins its is the saline I am suspicious about, FLOYD CUTS NO WEIGHT so this is not needed.

 

No, any IV is banned in sport that follows anti-doping code. IV saline is the easiest/quickest way to dilute the blood and throw off T:E ratios. THAT IS WHY IT IS UNIVERSALLY BANNED!

 

He probably hates drinking water via his mouth and prefers to use an IV.

From my reading the benefits are slim to none. And there are a few minor risks there as well that don't exist with drinking fluids the old fashion way.

 

Benefits of saline? IV use to dilute blood is the best method. Or were you meaning in regards to rehydration? In which case it has not been proven to be more effective.
