even if pac fought jmm @ 140 and beat him......every1 who said that jmm wud beat pac @140 (even @ 38) wud now say its cause jmm is older now. pac wouldn't get 1 ounce of respect in that scenario....again, even if its @ 140lbs. and yes the money may be there....but pacs not in it for the money. he has plenty. a win over jmm @ 140lbs wud do nuthin 4 pacs legacy.

Hopefully it would shut Marquez up. People say he won twice. People forgot in the first fight the 1 judge had it even only because he didn't know how to score the 1st round. Which should have been 10 - 6 pacquiao. So he tallied it in the end. But if he scored that round correctly it would 2 wins pacquiao. Pacquaio should whoop him once and 4 all.

there would have been a rematch anyways and Pacquiao got robbed in the first fight and Marquez got robbed in the second

true in a way.but he will get his own satisfaction of shutting marquez up a bit better than before,i suppose.

pac needs to decide who he wants most, which should be marquez, and he should allow marquez to come in a bit lighter at 144/5,otherwise hes as bad as floyd was but without himself going over limit, and he would probably weigh as he did for last fight and be bit lighter than 147 maybe 145 so he has that bit of speed and still more power to beat marquez.

allow mosley to look good beating berto, that way if still no floyd and if pac beats marquez he has mosley to fight who has come of a win and wont look as bad as fighting mosley after a loss and dodgy draw decision.

then floyd et al will decide "time is right" for floyd to finally man up and prove himself agiasnt a prime and skilled dangerous fighter at welterweight that has a chance of beating him.

I would have to agree that it's a loss - loss situation.

Jmm is past his prime that even if he receives a gargantuan beating it does not enhance pac's resume at all. It would not shut his detractors as well as even a ******* can not argue that jmm is really past it.

Next year jmm would be 39 and aging in boxing accelerates rapidly at that age. It takes more than double the effort to be just at respectable condition

Considering emmanuel's options right now, Marquez would be the best fight.

Pac already believes he beat JMM twice.....I don't think there's any challenge/motivation in him to do it again.

They better offer Manny a lot of money to make him want to do it again.

Once Pacquiao beat JMM again, expect lost of new ALT here discrediting Pacquiao's win over JMM.

It happened all the time, new ALTS popping out of no where after a Pacquiao fight.

I think Berto fight is the better option.

Which is more of a reason why this dude need to do everything within his power, including taking a full random blood test to fight Mayweather.

i completely disagree. pacs only VIABLE options in terms of legacy are floyd, martinez and marquez.

he could beat marquez at 147 and earn respect. doing it at 140 would earn even more because he is dropping down.

marquez has reestablished himself as a major player, and anyone beating him deserves credit.

Unfortunately ARUM wants more money, so his prefer choice is Mosley.

emmanuel does too. He tries to take a very business minded approach to his boxing. Only difference is he keeps his mouth zipped about it and plays stupid, this way no one will give him **** for it. It's all in his brand new book.

He also said last week he doesn't think fighting Marquez would do good PPVs.

People love making easy cash. emmanuel is no different.

marquez is a massively bigger draw than mosley
