It's time for people to accept that Floyd had never truly intended to fight Pac on May 5th. Floyd's lawyer already came out with a statement (I read it in one of BigReg's threads) that they had already signed contracts with MGM Grand, the networks, and the cable distributors as far back as November 2nd. That's without contacting Pac's team and before Pac even fought Marquez. Also, he said they already had an opponent and a backup opponent lined up.

All you haters who think Pac is worried about Floyd or who think people are just blind *******s for speaking the truth need to open your eyes.

Also as you can see by now, it's not all Arum's fault, idiots

What's wrong exactly with signing contracts with MGM?, doesn't it sound like they DID plan to make a fight there?. The only reason MGM seems an issue is Arum, nothing else really. You guys are trying to make MGM seem like it's some sort of demonic dimension because Arum would rather host it in Texas.

I'm sure Mayweather didn't personally make the phone-call, talked a lot about wanting it to happen all for theatrics. The man wants to make the fight this time around and it looks like the other side has its share of excuses this time. I don't think team Pacquiao and Arum went this far back in 2010 when they were claiming they wanted to fight him badly but got ignored, they didn't make any direct phone call.

it's not MGM the problem, it's that you don't finalize the contract with MGM to promote the biggest fight of all time in their venue without involving the promoter of the fighter you're gonna fight against.

That's pretty much common sense Scar.

That was at the request of Greenburg? from HBO who seemed to think he was some sort of master mediator.

The signing of the contract was only fake because it wasn't posted over Twitter. Unless you read it over Twitter, everything you're reading about Floyd is fake .

in November, Floyd's legal team hadn't made the decision to plead guilty. A trial was an option. They discussed with the prosecutor if a May fight would be feasible and were told yes. So Mayweather was simply lining up all his ducks, so if it went to trial, he already had the fight date and site commitment and the court would work around it.

    That so hard to understand?

you can call me a ******* but everytime you guys define a *******, it doesn't apply to me. I don't watch only Pac - in fact I've been to dozens of fights that have nothing to do with Pac. I watch tons of fights that have nothing to do with Pac. I know the sport pretty much top to bottom. I've never said Floyd was scared to fight Pac. I don't give a **** about Pac's personal life, except when it affects his boxing. I'm not even Filipino or have anything to do with Filipinos

So you call me a ******* because I don't buy into the bull**** criticism that he gets from his critics and haters, which you are part of, so be it.

At the end of the day I'm just a hardcore boxing fan who happens to be a big fan of the best boxer in the world. What a ****in surprise.

Philla is right... you simply don't start making deals without involving the other negotiating party. It makes no sense to start choosing the venue and date without involving Pac's team.
