Ward and dirrell will probably just end up being the usual american hypejobs like alexander and dawson, one got dominated in his backyard by a gatekeeper and had to be bailed out by corrupt judges and the other got out fought by a froch victim :rofl

I would take him with 5% skill than Dirrell with his 25% *****! If I could go back in time to when both were babies and swap them so dirrell was british and froch was american....I wouldnt.

....saying he is only 25% ***** is being a bit nice anyway

has a better 'resume' than Dirrell too

Dirrell couldn't be British. He hasn't got the heart that British fighters have. Even fighters from Haye to Naz to Eubanks were happy to go to war. It's a British trait. It's a country where men are men. A big proportion of American fighters tuck their balls between their legs every time they step into the ring. The heart that defined the warrior they produced decades ago has simply gone. The era of the Frazier's has been replaced by the likes of Eddie Chambers. The Qawi's have been replaced by the Dawson's. The Hagler's have been replaced by the Dirrell's.

America just doesn't produce warriors any more. It's a country that's gone soft.

I'll admit British fighters do have balls. I mean after so many brutal KO's suffered by your countrymen if I was a Brit I would never pick up the gloves, but they somehow keep trying. Gotta commend them in the face of certain humiliation.

getting knocked out is not humiliating, someone has to lose, it happens....running is humiliating. why someone with zero heart would choose to box is beyond me.

Having a poor chin isn't anything to be ashamed of. I'd much rather watch guys who don't have a chin, fight, than those who are tough, run. Nobody wants to watch ***** fighters, which is why people like Dirrell can't draw flies to warm ****.

A nice idea which isn't going to follow through. It gave us a couple of fights worth watching but I am now officially bored of it.

Here's how it goes forward, if it continues

    Ward fights against a TBA
    Johnson fights Green
    Abraham fights Froch

If TBA beats Ward, then he boxes off against Johnson/Green winner

Otherwise Froch, Abraham, Ward, and Johnson/Green winner advance. Loser of Froch/Abraham fights Ward. Winner fights Johnson or Green.

Then the finals. The only way there will be a rematch is if both Froch and Abraham make it to the finals.

If I get your point, Bute is a ducker who may have skills. In addition, he doesn't want to dominate the division.

Well, he's stuck out of a tournament because he was not invited. How can he be a ducker? He's waiting for the super 6 fighters but the damn tournament seems to never end. At the beginning, some of the best fighting some of the best, but now, with Green, Johnson and TBA, it's not the case anymore. We could have better fights now if the tournament ended.

You may like Ward a lot, but we know now that his only major win was against a fighter not able to see correctly. His second best win, against Miranda, he had to go the distance. Bute smashed him in 3. Want it or not, Ward's place on top of the division is not very solid.

You should calm down a bit. Things are not as clear as you pretend.

Thats what Kessler says. But we both know Ward beats his ass even if he Kessler could see threw walls.
Styles make fights. I guarantee Ward isnt getting tired and knocked around by Andrade in the 12 is he?

We'll see in the 1 year if Bute actually wanted to establish a legacy or not.

That's not only what Kessler say. It is actually what boxing fans could see of him against Ward.

Styles make fights doesn't change nothing about lack of power.
It is well documented that Bute was pretty ill before the first Andrade fight. The rematch proved it to be true. When Ward faces Andrade, we'll see what he does.

I tend to agree with your point number 3.
