Pro game? I assume your British? Do you not remember what happened when two of Britains top Heavyweights came up against a certain pair of Ukrainian brothers?
sall good, yall know how the brits get about their fighters if you've been here for a month or longer. they still think Amir Khan is good and will come back and beat Garcia lol. let them have their glory, it's rough being a brit fight fan getting behind hype jobs and seeing them KO'd at the world level. take solace in knowing that once Joshua fails as a pro they'll all be crushed worse than the cubans who watched Savon get robbed.
Your one ignoramus dude, just clutching at jealous and resenting straws. I had Joshua winning that fight by 2 pts, I had cammerelle up by a point after 2 rds but Joshua clearly won the 3rd rd. As for the Savon fight close but Savon should have won. But hey you keep blowing ignorant steam up your arse if it relieves you :good
He didn't beat Camarelle at last year World Championships , watch the fight on YouTube , he got a gift in that fight too so the Azheri ( Mahjidov ) should meet him in the final and not Cammarelle who was the real threat ( Olympic Champ ) . The Azheri went on to win it . Btw the World Championships were in Baku , Azherbaijan . Peace .
I thought Joshua lost to Savon and got a gift. Wasn't impressed with him at all. He showed a bit more against Dychko and impressed me a points in that fight. Against Camerelle i had Joshua winning a slim decision. To be honest i was shocked that Camerelle was 3 points up at the end of the 2nd. I thought the 1st round was close and 1 point either way was fair but i thought the 2nd round was equally as close and i didn't see where Camerelle got the 3 point lead from. In the 3rd Joshua landed a 4 punch combination, all 4 shots were scoring punches so negated Camerelles advatage straight away and he controlled the rest of the round. You lot shouting robbery are a bunch of biased haters who couldn't spell objectivity let alone portray it. Get a ****ing life. the fact that after the Italian challeneged the decision, the judges re-scored the fight and saw it as a wider margin win for Joshua says a lot... you lot are ****ing ******ed. The boy has had 40 Amateur bouts and still has a lot to learn and I hope he stays amateur for Rio and continues to learn before stepping into the pro game (although i think he is better suited to the pros). If he can sort his footwork and timing out there is some serious potential there.
Why? :think Audley was 30 when he turned pro. Josh is 22, has only been boxing for 4 years & had less than 50 fights. In that time he's won the ABAs, got a silver at the Worlds & a gold at the Olympics. Thats more than Audley ever achieved & Josh is staying in the amateurs until after next year's world championships.
I was not impressed with him in all honesty. Okay, Audley underachieved as much as a gold medalist can underachieve so Joshua should easily best his poor career but I don't see him close to pulling a Lennox or a Wlad. From the quarterfinals on, he had three close fights (one clear robbery, one close dec and one controversial and very close dec). His opposition was decent but he offered little proof that he was better than any of them. The only chance of him being successful at the pros is that his style translates well.
The british propaganda machine to make it seem like it was a legit win is in full motion already. Noone will remember after a few years, right guys?
Olympic boxing is very competitive, most of the medalists had close fights. I think Josh looked better at last years worlds & he didnt perform as well as I expected him to. No headguards & a 10 point scoring system will favour his style, Josh has a lot more potential than Audley imo, time will tell.
