    :-:)-(

I was wincing at the sound of some of those body shots as they were landing. They sounded as loud and thudding as Perez and Jennings.

Oh, right, because you can only hear the sound of the punches if you're ringside. :patsch

It's not my fault if you have a poverty entertainment system and can't hear that ****.

If you slap someone on the waist the sound can reverberate all throughout the theatre, but that has nothing to do with gauging the slaps impact or the discomfort it created.
All it likely means is that the HBO sound engineers played around with the sound mix real time to fool novices who would be startled and think it was magic.

In Real Time, they edit just Golovkin's punches? Damn, they need to pay the HBO sound engineers more money.

IL + 1 (had enough of your stupid, shitty trolling)

I'm a musician and a studying sound engineer. You can't turn the volume of the punches up without raising the sound of everything else that the mic would be capturing as well, so if the punches went up in volume so would the audience and everything except for the announcers.

A slap would make a higher pitched noise. The amount of force with which you strike something determines the amplitude (perceived loudness) of the resulting sound. The harder you strike something, the louder and bigger the sound will be. That's science.

I don't know what IL is, but if it means blocking him, I just don't care enough
