Daaammm is a stay busy fight Cotto can't fight all the time the big names he will get pretty shot before he ran into the 30, and is about the dates that HBO puts, Hbo can't make every fight big and telecaset into regular hbo, is a regular hbo date gentleman is not a ppv date, every fighter needs to gain money in his prime if he fight right now Williams and lose is over so fighting Gomes a fighter, that is better known that willimas by a mile, that will generate Cotto more money and exposure by casual fans. why not make it. I'm not happy either but at least i understand this fight, and Gomez is better than branco, Urkal, Bruseles, Sosa, damm even Corley. I rember his fight with Torres everybody talk a lot of **** about that fight and then Torres come and shut the mouth of almost everyone that didn't know Torres, so i'm not surprised if this fight end up being good. Gomez is bigger and look like he had a very hard chin. So is interesting.

I think Gomez is a preparatory to a fight with Margarito both strong presusre fighter with good chin the only problem is that Margo is stronger and hit harder, but Gomez boxes better.

It did look like Floyd was running away with the fight and on his way to a possible stoppage. But Judah gave him fits early on. And Cotto actually did stop him and beat him up throughout much worse. Regardless though, I said he gave us GREAT fights...which he did. And I think the Gomez fight will be good too. Don't sleep on Gomez, he's solid.

Gomez has heart but I would be amazed if this fight goes more than 8 rounds.

Throw him to the daddy shark Mayweather so he gets his first loss over and done with.

If this fight gets made I'm throwing a C-Note or two down on Gomez. He's a live underdog and the odds will be crazy.

Errmmmm Yes!!!! :rofl And the thought of him making it 7 rounds with Wlad, let alone "dominating" is even funnier then the notion of him being P4P #1. But your right, if Pavlik steps up and dominates the heavies or maybe Calzaghe......they would be P4P #1 too. How about if JMM wins the middleweight title? Or Donaire KO's Floyd in the 1st? I'm waiting for Sugar Shane to win the Cruiserweight Belt and Juan Diaz to UD Hopkins :deal GET THE **** OUT OF HERE!!!!! :rofl :patsch
