The "Look at their face" argument doesn't hold up well. Neither in damage nor in the facial features at the reaction of the decision. That being said, I felt that Kov won.
Yeah it is an awful argument. We've even seen fights where a guy clearly loses and feels that he won. We've seen fighters outbox their opponent but look worse for wear at the end of the fight. You cannot go by anything that is happening outside of those rounds. Every thing else is irrelevant, otherwise it would be part of the scoring criteria. There is no mention of "Confidence after the fight" in the rulebook of boxing lmao.
Poll the people. Almost all of the boxing pundits that I have seen thought Kovalev won. And it at least 2/3 of boxing fans. Kovalev won the event hands down.
