    Looks tenacious....although that wasn't a fight looked more like assault. Grabbing the guy and pulling him into his punches.


    Looks like Ricky has a very decent 1st defence. Not a soft touch :happy

    It was more than assault, it was a fight. That was 7th round knockout but Evensen looked so fresh so you might think that it was first round KO. But this guy who Evensen beat went to the scorecards with Molitor in his previous fight before Evensen.. And also knocked Molitor down with left hook.

    Seems like Evensen has a few decent wins. Even though the Molitor fight was a tune up over 8 rounds the guy decent fighter.

    Why did he lose to Gaudet? To early for him?? or just bad night for Evensen?

    Consu also is super feather a good weight for him...he's normally a feather and a strong one at that. Burns is like a lightweight. He looks very offensive and exciting to watch.

    He seems really energetic fighter. If he wasn't fighting Ricky i'd be a fan of his :lol:. His style will bring a brilliant battle in Braehead Arena.

    Just watching him he does some very good things, moves head well at times, tries to use a jab and also feints. Then he gets wild and starts to swing and that's where i see Ricky landing really hurtful shots.

    Gaudet fight came too early. Evensen's first fight in here Finland was very poor and he almost lost to journeyman called Alex bone.. That was more than two years ago. And that finnish debut was AFTER Gaudet fight. But after that poor finnish debut... Whoah.. He has developed VERY much. In his first fight everybody watched him like ''oh cmon, where are the finnish fighters?'' but now fans here in Finland loves him. He is very entertaining and nice to watch. Very skillful and he is not afraid to let his punches fly. So the reason for Gaudet lost is that he wasn't ready. In nowdays he is totally different fighter and this is not stupid hype talk because seriously I am saying just what I feel. Im here to tell you everything that I can and I'm doing it honestly. Evensen is very good pressure fighter and he is getting better and better everytime he fights.

    no i dont like it when people who probably never fought or even been in a boxing gym slags someone who showed courage and determination to win a world title.Like yourself you said after the fight burns won that martinez wasnt this or that,plain and simple ricky never let him do what he wanted to do thats part of a game plan something that clearly will go way over your head because your not educated on boxing enough:nono

    Martinez was a quality operator and Ricky dealt with him good and proper!! People really raved on Martinez after what he did to Cookie so Ricky should be given an awful lot of credit cos he went in there and bullied a puncher at times....:good
