British Heavies on massive Wembley bill!
    This content is protected

On the wake of hearing of the world heavyweight unification clash, we now learn of another, abiet smaller, Unification fight at Wembley Arena : Tyson Fury (English Champion) Unifies against Dereck Chisora (British and Commonwealth Champion) in a fight that has been brewing for a long time.

The undercard is also stacked with great fights, showing Cuban/Adopted Irish hotshot Mike Perez taking on the notorious Audley Harrison. A true crossroads fight here, as if Audley loses this one, he may have no where to go and his dream of becoming a heavyweight champion will have zero chance of coming true, if it ever did have any chance. A win here for Perez, and he will soon be up on the title scene.

In the other support bout, prospect David Price will take on seasoned veteren Fransois Botha from South Africa, in what is a major step up for David. We will see if he has got what it takes to tangle with those big domestically and further after this fight.

Two more big fights added to massive Heavyweight unification bill !
The massive heavyweight title bill, already with two great fights on the undercard, will now feature a European title match with champion Alexander Dimitrenko defending against hyped unbeaten prospect Alexander Povetkin, in a real good European level clash. We will surely see if either fighter has what it takes for World class fights after this one.

And the final fight, solidifying the 5 mega fight bill is class prospect Karabt Pulev taking on Jonathan Banks, both fighters trying to show they are worthy fighters at Heavyweight.

I recognize that promotion name from the last game... Welcome back ! Thompson could very easily pick up the USBA belt soon and you are in a position to challenge for the title if you want that fight made? Chambers and Chagaev are good fringe world title contenders at the moment, and probably need a few more fights before being considered by anyone for a legit shot.

Okay guys, the line is drawn for the first set of fights ! Results will be on the first page. Updated rankings later tonight. Two fight reports per post !

    David Price 11-0 (9) Vs Frans Botha 48-5-3 - 10 x 3 Minute rounds
Price, obviously the favourite here, hasnt been pushed too hard in his career so far. He looked good last time out knocking out fellow unbeaten prospect Tom Dallas in two rounds. Botha won his last bout against unbeaten Flo Simba in 6 rounds but lost to Evander Holyfield before that.

The taller man Price, starts off by jabbing cautiously and moving around Botha. Botha shows his experience though, as he blocks many and has timed attacks but is usually tied up when he gets in. Price lands a very good right hook towards the end of the round that makes Botha move back. The next few rounds are similar, and Price has won every round up till round 6, when Botha starts swinging wildly. Botha, knowing he's falling behind, tags Price with a massive right hand that wobbles him, but as he goes to the body he hits price low and gets a point deducted. Price is still shaken as Botha charges him, but once again he goes low and another point is deducted - Price wins the round he actually lost 9-8 due to these deductions.

Botha comes charging in the 7th with big winging attacks but is too careless and a massive left hook drops Botha. He is up quick at 2 but sags back to the ropes, and Price unloads a few soft jabs and rights and the referee jumps in and stops it, most thought it was very premature but Botha wasnt winning the fight.

    Mike Perez 16-0 (12) Vs Audley Harrison 27-5 (20) 10 x 3 min

Unbeaten hotshot, Perez , is tipped for absoulutley massive things and you can see why. Harrison is notoriously hot and cold, and probably will retire if he loses here, which the bookies say he will, probably inside the distance.

Early on, Harrison comes forward like a man on a mission, firing straight shots quickly at Perez , putting him on the back foot. However, Harrison has his hands low when he's throwing and Perez continuously tags him with over the top counters. This pattern continues early, with Harrison slowly but surely starting to retreat back, and by the 7th Harrison is just covering up on the ropes whilst Perez unloads on him. The 8th is a bad round for Audley as he moves backwards with his hands down after eating a left hook, and a quick right lands on his chin which flattens him. He's up at 9, badly hurt and is saved by the bell.

The 9th comes and almost straight away a left hook by Perez puts Harrison down for a 4 count. Harrison sags back to the ropes, looking awful like the fight should be stopped - and Perez comes running in with his hands down to finish the fight only to walk on to a massive left hand ! He is dropped and that is the kind of punch that drops iron chinned warriors ! 1...2.... The refs waving his arms ! He is not going to get up ! Audley once again lands a money shot and wins by dramatic knockout ! Unbelievable !

    MAIN EVENT
    BRITISH/ENGLISH/COMMONWEALTH CHAMPIONSHIP UNIFICATION.

    DERECK CHISORA VS TYSON FURY
    This content is protected

    Dereck Chisora 14-0 (9) (British/Commonwealth)
    Vs
    Tyson Fury 14-0 (10) (English)

A massive British domestic clash, headlining a great show that you have seen Price and Harrison victorious on the undercard. A true grudge match, Chisora is favourite but not by much due to the money stacked on Fury ! Game on !

Early on , the fight is very tentative, although in the first 4 rounds Fury was the one goıng forward and making a fight of it, but Del boy countered very well. The punch stats were (thrown/landed) Fury 46/16 , Chisora 31/15 after 4 rounds.

The 5th sees a change in events as Chisora goes forward more but Fury meets him in the centre of the ring and they trade shots. This pattern carries on till the 8th, with each round Chisora landing the better, cleaner shots but Fury landing more shots even if they are sloppy ones.

The 9th saw both fighters tired and a bit tentative to engage, and Chisora took the round due to him landing 4 punches to Furys none, both threw 10 that round.

Tyson pressed forward in the 10th, and was all over Dereck in the first minute, but he tired after that and Chisora ended the round well. The 11th was similar but more or less the roles reversed, as Chisora worked the 1st minute, he didnt tire but he was lazy and didnt do much as Tyson landed the odd jab and cross.

The 12th came and there was no one clearly ahead, and both fighters met in the centre for what has to be one of the best rounds I've seen on this game. Both fighters unloaded masses of punches, each's head ripped from side to side as neither would give an inch. Tyson was cut towards the end of the round but as he felt his skin tear he roared back with 8 left-right hooks to end the round strongly.

''And now we go to the judges scorecards where we have a SPLIT desison.
Judge 1 scores the bout 115-114 to Dereck Chisora.
Judge 2 scores the bout 116-112 to Tyson Fury
Judge 3 scored the bout 115-114 to your winner, and now the Undisputed British,Commonwealth and English champion....

Both men show very different emotions after the bout, Fury, Exstatic, Chisora, Flabbergasted. What a fight

    USA CARD

    Shannon Briggs 51-6-1 (45) Vs Derric Rossy 25-4 (14)
Shannons first fight since being brutally beaten up and defeated by the hands of Vitali Klitschko, he takes an 'Easy Fight' and one he should be able to win, even in his past prime state.

'The Cannon' comes roaring out of his corner and starts to unload on Rossy, who seems to of been caught cold and backed against the ropes. Shannon lands a brutal bodyshot that makes Rossy fold to the canvas for a count of 6. He is hit with a few more tough shots and he takes a knee, and is up at 4. A few more hard shots and another knockdown (which Rossy is up at 7 from) prompts the referee to stop it whilst Shannon is unloading on him on the ropes.

    Shannon Briggs WTKO1 Derric Rossy

    David Haye 25-2 (23) Vs Kali Meehan 38-4 (31)
Haye looking to bounce back from his world title loss to Wladimir Klitschko by facing fellow contender Kali Meehan. Meehan has won 3 on the bounce since being beat over the distance by Ruslan Chagaev.

The fight starts with a quick tempo being set, Haye moving around quickly and throwing a sharp jab at Meehan, who answers by stepping across him and getting a quick combination in. The fight is close and Haye's shots take there toll towards the end of the round as Meehan is hesitant to get in, allowing Haye to get some shots off.

Haye boxes similarly for the first 5 rounds, moving around and fighting in quick bursts which seem to have Meehan swinging at the air as he cant time David coming in or going out. Haye starts the 6th aggresive, throwing fast one two's with left hooks at Meehan who seems startled and tries to get away. A big right hand lands for Haye thats sends Meehan's legs to jelly. Meehan holds the ropes to keep himself steady but is hit with a thunderous right hand that sends his body limp. Haye is reigning blows into him and his arms falls to his side, he is litterally out on his feet with the ropes proping him up. The referee is slow to stop the fight, and pulls Haye off as the unconcious Meehan falls to the canvas.

David Haye looks confident and sharp upon stopping Kali Meehan in the USA.

    UNIFICATION TIME (AGAIN !)
    JAMES TONEY 76-6-3 (44) (IBA)
    Vs
    MAURICE HARRIS 24-15-2 (USBA)

James Toney is rank #4 with the USBA but Harris is not ranked by the IBA, however Toney voluntarly put his title on the line to make a unification clash, which are all happening this week across the globe! Toney is the favourite here but Harris is a tricky contender.

From the offset, Toney is coming forward, moving his head and countering Harris easily. Harris is never in the fight for the first 6 rounds, as Toney picks him off with ease. Harris lands the odd jab, but its never anything significant and is always outgunned. However, these 6 rounds of moving forward tires Toney, who then opts to stay on the ropes for the next few rounds. It doesnt make much difference, as Harris lands a little more than he was before and Toney finds the open head of Harris way too easily. This pattern is continued until the 11th, when Toney's breath is back and he moves forward again. He then starts to catch Harris hard and clean, who is now back peddling. Late in the 11th a short left hook from Toney catches Harris who goes down for a count of 2. Harris runs all round 12 and the fight goes to the judges scorecards. There is no chance Harris has won this..

''Ladies and gentlemen, after 12 rounds of World class boxing we now go to the scorecards for a unanimous desison,

Judge 1 scores the bout 120-107,
Judge 2 scores the bout 120-107 and
Judge 3 scores the bout 119-108 for your winner, and now IBA AND USBA CHAMPION...

James ''Lights Out'' Toney WUD12 Maurice Harris
    This content is protected

James Toney looks brilliant in shutting out Maurice Harris, and he picks up the USBA belt which has more credibility than the IBA trinket he defends.

Poor results in two of your fighters getting their ''0'' taken but you can take good from the results! Price beat a very good fighter in Botha and didnt lose a round on the scorecards, Perez was clearly on top but got very careless and no matter what you say about A Force he can wack ! And Chisora lost on a very close, debatable desison to Fury so you can still hold your head high ! :thumbsup

Yeah I thought Audley had no chance - a punchers chance at most and it turns thats all he needed !
