    That is exactly the fight I was thinking of before I opened the thread. The other one could be Emile Griffith killing Benny Paret. The referee was at fault, but Griffith must have known Paret was done. Boxers are taught to keep punching until the fight is stopped, so he gets the support from that perspective.
