All have lost because they weren't good enough, apart from Spence who the British posters seem to think was definately robbed(I didn't see the fight so can't comment)

Spence was robbed. I thought Gusha was unlucky too. I've not seen the ****** fight but the rest were fair enough decisions imo.

Part of it is that the Americans refuse to fight in the ama style. The Indian today should have lost and looked like crap, but that one punch, clinch, run, one punch style works well in the ama. Flawed as it is the Americans are fully aware how these things go.

Forgetting the Spence debacle, the USA boxing team have been dreadful and well below the standard of top Amateur boxing.

No robbery or bad luck for ******, he was against a better hungrier fighter. Started well mind, good round 1. Needs to give the pro game a go now.

As does Spence, was very impressed with him.

doesn't matter, boxing is still boxing and should be the same all around....no others sports change so damn much from am to pro...that's ****en ridiculous...usa boxers set the standard all around on how boxing should be....period

I've seen all the American losses apart from the Spence fight, and all were fair results, even though one or two at most were close and could have easily gone the other way.

It seems the American Amateur boxing programme hasn't learned anything from the poor performance in Beijing. Surely they have better fighters than this?

That's sensible thinking, but you and everyone else knows that ama boxing is way different. There is a reason why all these former soviet, cuban and Indian fighters do well. They fight the way the tards at the ama's score while the Americans fight like pro's.
