    His nickname was because he was so hairy — unlike most fighters he didn’t shave his chest and back.

    Bigfoot’s resume included (mostly losing) fights against the ones noted — Wlad and Larry Holmes and Witherspoon and Bowe and Hide — along with Tony Tubbs, Lance Whitaker, Dwight Qawi, Lance Whitaker, Bonecrusher, Francesco Damiani, Pierre Coetzee, Bert Cooper and many more names of note.

    I’d love to see a Best I Faced with him.

    Boxers like Everett "Bigfoot" Martin seem to be far more respected than a lot of former world champions.

    Everett Martin was a good gatekeeper type.
    Actually he was a fattened up middle/LHW and he hung in there were some huge heavyweights.
