hey do not buy a "tree" heavy bag stand mine shook the flo after 3 punches with 300 lbs of sand and olympic discs- if you have to you could put it in some concrete behind your garage if you didnt know i had no problems hanging it from da cieling on a "beam" the only thing i can imagine is it's desisned for a very heavy bag.
