havent use it before, but i remember seeing a similar tool being used in a video which instructed on how to improve hand speed. basically it said by holding weights while shadow boxing you are just training the muscles to keep your hands up because the work is being done against gravity. However, with resistance bands ( similar to this product ), you are getting a pull resistance. therefore it will help activate more muscles and neurons and improve your hand speed. hope this info helps a bit
This guy is a very necessary and essential piece of equipment. Some people spend too much time with hand weights (which should also be part of routine) instead of using this when shadow boxing. Get it. You'll benefit from it.
I got it from TK Maxx for about 7 quid. It's OK for warming up but does slip at times.I'd say it's better value for money than the thing on Ebay with Matty Hatton modelling it.That's around £50 and is like the thing that Holyfield invented.
Got this in the mail yesterday. Haven't used it in the gym yet, but just testing it out shadowboxing a little at home, it's a lot harder than I thought it'd be. Looking forward to seeing how it helps. Thanks for the replies.
