I just bought this afew days ago and Set it up just the way it was suppose to bet set up on the manuel. Only weird thing i noticed is that it is a weird shape! Its almost Lopsided in certain areas. I dont know if its because it needs to be broke in or if its because the padding has been boxed in and still kept the box shape? It feels good and smooth but the only thing thats bothering me about it is I just bought it and I know its not defective but at the same time I set it up the right way and its not the right shape!
I have used three water bags. Two of the bags by Everlast and both Everlast were also blue and lopsided. Out of the two one started leaking but I'm not sure how long that gym has used the bag. The next brand was Ringside. Great quality, feel, and size. The way it accepts punches is the best part about water bags. They weigh a bunch so you don't have to worry about bag movement. You also don't have to worry about hand damage because the water is more safer when punching than other punching bag materials. If you are looking for a 150 lbs bag getting a good water bag is my vote.
I have the same bag, I bought mine at Champs and yes that is normal, at least in my case, though yours look worst than mine.
Im guessing the gyms one started leaking because these bags are not made for gym use and it says that everywhere on the box. Man this is really bugging me.
Can you take some pictures? Its cool if you cant but did your bag get better as you broke it in and used it more? Do you have any guesses why my bag might be looking like this? performance wise the bag is 100% but Im just annoyed about the fact that I just bought it and its looking like this:|
My guess is you mounted it incorrectly and there is a chance you will destroy those trusses if you have any firepower!
:good it looks normal to me, Honestly I love the water bags they are better on your hands and they last longer if you take care of them. Good choice.:good
Thanks bazooka! Long time since we talked man. How are your fighters doing? Yea I love this bag and for some reason it gives my arms a better workout even tho i dont have any hand problems.
Man I used to have one, and it was great, easy on the hands and all... But the seams on the bottom eventually started leaking, come to find out i busted the intertube on the inside some how.. Not worth it IMO.. To late now though, if I were you i'd focus more on speed with it though..heh Im sure I did somethingh wrong for that to happen though.. Anyway, mine didnt look that disfigured, but I dont think you should have major problems....
