MASSIVE height difference, even more than in the first bout.

    Several inches.

Short guy just got KTFD early. Back up and swatting away, dangerous.

    Round 1

Palacios scores a quick knockdown with a shotgun blast right hand as Mendoza circles him. Mendoza bounces up and starts to throw fly-swatter lefts and rights up at Palacios. The younger man keeps his composure, jabbing and taking half-steps back. Mendoza catches him with a few shots reaching up on the tips of his toes, but nothing too damaging. Patiently, Palacios waits for a spot to land another right hand - and LAND HE DOES!!! Mendoza is KTFO, sitting up but doesn't know where he is.

    KO!!

Morales is in the fire-color (red and yellow/orange) trunks.

Castillo in light blue with black trim and star shapes running down his hips.

    Round 1

Big left hook by Morales, exploiting his reach. Castillo is battered across the ring by hooks and right hands to head and body. Castillo bows down and shoves out at Morales' front with both palms turned out. Morales knocks Castillo back with a couple of vicious hooks up and down. Castillo seems hurt but sticks it out, and actually comes back with his own flurry while circling close. Castillo is game, give him that. Turning southpaw! Landing right jabs from outside, then back to orthodox to poke in some left jabs.

    10-9 Morales

    Round 2

Castillo takes it to Morales, throwing spirited slap-overs to get inside and then pumping away with uppercuts once there. Morales bashes him away with a few very hard uppercuts of his own. Castillo keeps trying to build up some momentum with his high slapping flurries but all it takes is one bomb from Morales to shut him down. Morales jabs at him from outside. Body flurries by Castillo. Stiff jab by Morales darting forward abruptly to catch Castillo off guard. Castillo rallies back with a long flurry to the body, close to a dozen punches. Morales got a counter or two in, but excellent moment for Castillo. Big slaps to the head by Castillo in the clinch!

    20-18 Morales

They don't make 4-11-3 journeyman much tougher than Castillo, do they?

    Round 3

Castillo leans over and jabs out of the left handed stance, aiming for the body and getting himself positioned shoulder-up against Morales. They trade flurries and both miss a bit. Big left hook by Morales knocks Castillo back a few steps. Big uppercut by Morales is partially blocked. Slaps to either cheek by Castillo, keeping his hands wide at his sides between throwing. Morales comes forward and jabs at him. Nice defensive move by Morales, ducking behind his shoulder and pivoting as Castillo throws a few wild uppers. Slaps up top by Castillo. Morales circles left and sticks his long jab. Castillo tries to paste him on the mouth with a right hand while creeping in low. 1 point taken from Morales. Low blow? :huh

    9-9

    29-27 Morales
