Castillo shoves his way inside and digs to the body, as Morales does the same. Morales is warned for something. Castillo flurries to the body some more, ducking under the Morales jab. Right hands whipped high overhead by Castillo. Morales hurt?!? No, just reeling backward on his heels as a punch caught him while unbalanced. Doesn't seem hurt. Leaning forward and trading uppercuts. Both men landing. Castillo is much busier, slapping all over Morales. Single shots by Morales, powerful but often not landing too cleanly at point blank range as Castillo is a blur of slapping activity.

Round 5

Castillo is ducking and rolling, slapping out with both hands. Castillo is scoring very well now, as Morales struggles to line up a 1-2 which would better serve him at longer range. Morales' inexperience is showing here. Castillo is just zigzagging all around him and showering him in light taps. Morales seems annoyed and flustered, and can't find his big punch. Castillo lands an accidental low blow and Morales sells it - eager for a respite. Really bad acting job. He only gets about ten seconds out of it. Castillo picks up where he left off. SIX uppercuts by Castillo! - Morales is knocked back into the ropes. ALL OF A SUDDEN MORALES LANDS A HARD RIGHT HAND AND CASTILLO IS STUNNED!!!

Round 6

Morales throws an uppercut, a sloppy overhand, and a straight right to the body - landing only the last one. Castillo meanwhile frolics around to his right, cutting a wide swath. Less activity from Castillo here, may be giving it away. Still throwing in flurries against Morales' single shots - but shorter flurries and fewer of them as he stays outside. Telegraphed overhand by Morales, pulled back halfway into delivery as it becomes clear Castillo is too far away already. Morales chips away at Castillo coming forward, hitting gloves or missing as he ducks against the ropes. Castillo maneuvers out to the middle of the ring and pops body shots while ducking and weaving around Morales. Now Morales is spun to the ropes and shoe-shined upon. They hug at the final bell.

Damn, very tough final round to score.

Pretty sure I heard "azul" (blue) associated with the name Vasquez during the commentator's last 100mph rant.

So Vasquez in the blue, and Aburto in the black.

 

Round 1

They're going at it tooth and nail already, trying to outdo the last match. :yep Aburto seems to have an aversion to body shots, wincing against the ropes as Vasquez slashes away at him. Aburto throws some wild straight shots to the head, trying to goad Vasquez into more of a headhunting contest. Interesting. Vasquez mixes up his attack, landing body shots and a BIG overhand left hook to the jaw. Jab and hook from too far away by Aburto, and an even worse 1-2 after they've stepped further apart. Clinch. Vasquez paws in on the taller man with his right jab, and lands a chopping left in the ensuing exchange.

Aburto is markedly improving his control of the terrain, whipping at Vasquez on the way in with a frantic pace and forcing him back and into even better firing range. Long pause - fixing tape? Gumshield? Anyway, time in. Vasquez has to hold as Aburto slaps down at him. Vasquez has his back to the ropes. Aburto throws a long left hook. Vasquez dives past it and flurries to the body, as Aburto misses some chops at at his head. Clinch. Aburto stretches out some jabs from well outside, and plugs Vasquez with an uppercut to the belly. Big chopping attack by Aburto.
