Round 1

Lanzas throws a right to the body and then languishes on the inside, pressing up against Carrero. A bit more of the same, in and out without much clean punching going on.

BIG LEFT HOOK TO THE BODY. Where did that come from?? CARRERO DOWN ON ONE KNEE!! He makes no rising attempt.

Walter Castillo vs. Moises Castro, 10 rounds @ welterweight

 

Castillo is in the white with blue streaks & splotches. Castro is in the silvery white with the red stripes down his legs.

 

Round 1

Castillo circles to his left and loads up on powerful hooks. Castro stays low and tight with his guard, trying to throw right jabs and straight lefts to the body as Castillo keeps taking wide steps around him. Castro reaches with a left to the body, and gets slapped behind the neck with a left hook.

Slow round.

Round 2

Castillo has Castro hurt from early on! He follows him around the ring, and finally puts him DOWN with a bunch of quick hooks. Castro is up, but quickly floored again as Castillo opens up with uppercuts. Again Castro gets up and is mauled. Castillo lands a hard left hook to the body, and one upstairs. Castro ducks back and paws his right jab. Left uppercut to the stomach by Castro, bravely standing his ground. Castillo rocks Castro back with a hook. A couple of hair-brushing power shots up top by Castillo.

Round 3

Castillo is sent packing after an aggressive start, as Castro opens up with some big right hooks and wide lefts!! Castro is in it to win it! Castillo backs up and lines up a right hand. Castillo trots to his left at an easy gait, not too worried about Castro coming forward and lunging at him. Castillo is giving away a huge edge in work rate this round, though. Castro is bossing his way in, trying to hook Castillo 's face off with the right. Castillo is momentarily cornered, and gets his forearms out to bar Castro's entry. Castro keeps chasing him with those right hooks.

Castillo just gave one away.

Round 4

Castro is circling and popping his right jab. Castillo dances off the ropes, changes directions a few times, and just seems to be gathering himself. Calm before the storm. Castro jabs after him, and there's the Castillo attack!!! Big left jabs and right hands, poured in at Castro in rapid succession. Castillo slows down so as not to punch himself out, takes his time, sets up a big right, and rocks Castro. Body shots. Castro answers back with his own.
