    I use Totalism and/or Nitrology
because they have other performance enhancers like advanced Nitric Oxide systems, which give far better gains.

But if your on a budget I'd buy 1kg of Creatine Ethyl Ester and use it year round, which will end up costing you less than £3 a month. 1kg would give you a years supply and will only cost around £10 more than 1kg of the inferior Monohydrate

You're right, it won't make you a better boxer, it'll just make you faster, stronger and have better stamina.

Maybe your friends were in the small percentage that extra creatine doesn't affect at all (I think something like 10% of the world population) that or your friends were expecting 10lbs of musle in two weeks, didn't get it and so creatine is BS.

They give "far better gains" in what areas? Could you kindly describe it? What are your primary goals when training and supplementing your diet?

    Thank You

    I think that's a pretty extraordinary claim.

Yes 10% of people don't can not absorb CREATINE MONOHYDRATE. This 10% can however absorb Creatine Ethyl Ester and Creatine Malate so they can benefit from Creatine if they use the right type. The reason Creatine Ethyl Ester and Creatine Malate work is because they are absorbed 40times more easily

Creatine Mono will give you some water weight but Creatine Ethyl Ester and Creatine Malate because of the way they work will not.

These friends probably loaded Creatine, which most unknowledgable or unscupalous companies advice - you use more creatine but get bloated/heavier because of overdosing.

His friends may also have not been good trainers anyway.

Overall strength (ie if I go from no supplements to using Totalism &Nitrology my bench will go up by 10-20lbs in 2 weeks) but also stamina in my road work and my bodyfat drops. You also get better recovery with the Totalism espeically for instance if my bench press might go up by 10lbs in 2weeks. They have the following benefits over creatine alone

Nitrology - aswell as creatine contains a Advanced Nitric Oxide which enlarges your blood vessells so blood and nutrients can flow to muscles. This means your stronger and can exercise for longer as the heart pumps blood round more easily. It also reduces blood pressure and makes the heart function more effectively so its good for your health. Nitric Oxide is also how viagra works, so it could help your sex life

Totalism - on top of creatine a combination of every muscle buildeing product. Nitric Oxide, Stimulants (Energy), Gakic (buffers lactic acid meaning you can exercise beyond your usual point of failure), Testo Boosters, GH Boosters, Fat Metobolisers.

My measurable training goals: 4 1/2 miniute mile (best 4:59), reduce bodyweight to below 200lbs and 5% bodyfat (currently around 215 & 10% bodyfat), 260kg Deadlight (current 220kg)180kg Bench Press (current 160kg). I do pad work, bagwork, and occasional sparing but its not something I can measure but something I strive to improve.

It provides you with a little more energy for anaerobic activity. That's it. Whether that will make you stronger or faster depends on your workout. Stamina will only improve slightly if it's anaerobic. Aerobic endurance will not benefit at all.

    Thanks PowerPuncher,
I'd like to ask you BUT honestly - what was your observations about changes to your capasity (endurance/stamina, workrate) during pad work, sparring etc.?

    Thanks
    Ted

People (experts) think that boxing is 75% anaerobic...

I (a person) think that depends on your style. But anyway, the anaerobic part may improve slightly. Emphasis lies on the words may and slightly. All it does is give you a little extra fuel. What you do with that fuel is what matters.

Yeah, was bad wording. I meant it'll allow you to gain more strength, speed and stamina if you train for them.

With all due respect to Powerpuncher, I'm going to continue getting my creatine the natural way.

Most of the articles that promote creatine supplements are subsidized by the manufacturers/sellers. Reputable sources, e.g., the Mayo clinic and certain university studies, recommend caution when taking it as a supplement.

The fact that many athletes take the stuff is inevitable. A study of U.S. Olympic athletes a few years ago found that most of them if given the choice would trade most of their remaining life spans for an Olympic gold. These kinds of people are not role models for long term health.

I don't like to get my performance from a jar or a bottle and I don't like it when people downplay the risks of supplements. Also, my wallet is healthier and I don't need to worry about side effects or long term damage.
