Well I've been waiting for this day to come, I thought Mosely would've had him, or perhaps Judah, but Cotto just kept winning. The problem with undefeated fighters is that if they don't remain invincible, then they suddenly become an exposed fraud. As glad as I am to see Margo get the win, and Cotto fans eat some humble pie, losing a fight does not make you a fraud, it makes you human. I just hope Miguel wasn't over affected by the now derailed Cotto hypetrain...

Why would Rocky Marciano have benefitted from a loss on his perfect record?

The general public doesn't want no human being to be champ. They want indestructible machines that take heads off.

It would have been beneficial to him if he had lost to a naturally sized, formidable heavyweight contender and then avenged that loss. Most of his career was smashing men of advanced age (walcott, louis) or Light heavyweights (moore, charles, etc.)

Jeff Lacy did, though, if you ask me. :-( I am so sad how things turned out for him - I love the guy.

What if it is impossible to lose, like Joe Calzaghe?

We shouldn't bring him down for that.
