Stiverne is fat pig carrying 10-15 lbs extra weight. Too many heavyweights are overweight: Arreola, Stiverne, Solis, Charr, Hammer, Leapai, Ruiz Jr, Thompson, Pulev, Perez. And list goes on... If they train 4-5 hours a day they can't have that much bodyfat, obviously they don't train much. I'd like they rise Heavyweight limit to 220lbs, and cruiserweight under 220lbs.
Looks like the Americans have a very talented guy in Wilder ..totally rewrote the script..I was shocked to see how easy he made it ..bermane aint no slouch !!
Gave up a football and basketball scholarship to care for his daughter. Wilder is the type of athlete we've been saying for years that do not go into boxing because of the money to be made in other sports. No athletically gifted American heavyweight will choose boxing over the promise of a NFL or NBA career. Wilder only did it because of pressing circumstances with his daughter.
Nobody trains for 4-5 hours a day, but the problem most likely is their diets as much as the work they put in. If you work hard but only eat fastfood then you'll put on as much fat as muscle.
We just need to see more heavyweights in optimum condition full stop. Amazed that guys like Solis can't motivate themselves to get in shape.
I have to agree reluctantly... The gene pool in football and basket ball is off the chart they may have literally thousands of wladimirs or dear I say better :-(....an athletic big in shape American is an absolute nightmare to Wladimir reign :-(....2.5 years in boxing and Olympic bronze ...really you can't be serious!!!..I can categorically say ...The Americans are coming ! ..and I'm not even American.
Watch out the ones with skinny legs ...GGG..kovalev ..hearns.Julian Jackson, Hagler.....you worked it out yet do you want me to go on
