Cmon people, you gotta like Fury's attitude .. This guy thinks he'd have a chance with Ali, Dempsey and Tyson all on the same night .. I like this 'Naz' kind of attitude in Fury, i think he genuinely believes that he can become the greatest heavyweight of all time , its total bull**** but really entertaining for me ..
Give me this kind of personality over the ultra dull personality Joe Calzaghe had any time .... Calzaghe was such a bore, in and out of the ring with his ridiculous, inaccurate flurries that landed 1 out of every 20 punches .. Hopkins was robbed !!!!!!!!!!!!

I take anything Fury says in print with a massive pinch of salt.

He comes across as a pillock when these press releases come out but usually comnes across well in person.

Make of that what you will.

    Now now now.

Give big John McDermott his respect. He might not have the build of a greek god, but McDermott is fit as hell, the guy has proven he can do a hard 12 rounds, hes probably fitter than most people on this forum.

Funny when you think of it that way isnt it:deal

All you guys are missing the point of what this 'Sun' article was about .... Its about giving Fury publicity, its about making Fury into the guy 'people love to hate', theres a lot of money in that, think of Eubank and Naz, fighters that split the public because of their attitude .... Theres so much more money being the 'Bad Guy' than being the 'Good Guy', its perfect marketing ..... Its just a shame that Fury looks shite any time he goes in the ring, he just doesnt have the fundamentals to work on .. In a good domestic division he'd be dealt with, Bruno for all the criticism he gets would look like Joe Louis against Fury ....

Dunky me and you have never got along and we've shared somlight hearted banter .. But will you please change your avator, the sight of Scott Harrison makes me feel queasy, i know your a 'patriot' but cant you change it to Jim Watt or Kenny Buchanan, real fighters that are respected .. Scott Harrison is a pure nobody, a total nothing .. Please man i hate that guy with a passion, hes such a ***** ..

is this what really happened? did he turn down sparring with Haye?

don't just say it if you don't know cos that would be a stupid move if he did turn it down. i heard it was on the cards and its the best thing Fury could do at this stage of his career. the way Haye circles and pot-shots would be great for Fury's development, for his footwork, his ring generalship, everything.

If he did turn it down I'd like to know why, because it would look like he was spineless and thick. I like Fury, he's amusing and what comes out of his mouth is good for British boxing, but if he turned that opportunity down for reasons of face he's a complete bellend, and I'd be running out of patience with the lad very quickly.

He's with McCracken now right? As a punter I would be wanting to see him start backing all this up and putting in some hard work.

McDermott is indeed a decent boxer and honest. I'd be supporting him in a rematch instead.

Gary Mason would have looked like Joe Louis against Fury.

Frank Bruno could have beaten Fury and Audley on the same night, within 4 rounds total.
    Bruno would beat Haye too.

Fury is punch drunk from eating his own uppercuts.
