Bruno is very underrated.

Its ok saying he lost when he stepped up in class, but other than the shocking KO loss to Smith (who he was beating easily) each guy to beat him was genuinely top class, including the equally underrated Witherspoon.

The only time he was whupped was in the 2nd Tyson fight..... which he clearly didn't fancy - admitted in his book. He gave Tyson trouble in the first fight, and Lewis was struggling badly until the TKO.

 

You know, I didn't mean to totally bash Bruno.

Not tat I don't stand by what I said. I was never a fan. But the thread wasn't about him.

What bothered me was the assumption that he would brush Haye aside - for me Haye has proved much more in his career.

A Haye win isn't out of the question by any means.

The key I guess is if Haye can avoid Bruno's jab, or whether Bruno could take Haye's shots - if Bruno landed Haye would be spark out!

Look axl. I see you have been following me around these last few days trying to goad me into an argument, but havent you read? I have given up being the ESB bad guy. Its over. No more rants & raves, no more petty posturing, no more arrogance, I have given it up. If you check my posts, you will see that I havent argued in a good while. I know it will hurt fans of mine who tuned into brit ESB to watch me verbally slug it out with many opponents, but like a fighter who has taken one too many shots over the course, I just dont have it in the tank anymore. So its time to call it a day & let other posters become big controversial characters in their own right without having to face me first. Im like George Foreman, I used to be a badguy poster but have mellowed in my old age, & want people to see the other side of Dunky.

Its kinda sad, but we all have our primes on ESB, & as a poster Im way past mine. So Im melting into the background now, you will have to pick fights with someone else now buddy! You calling me out nowadays is the boxing equivalent of Vitali calling Lewis out for one last fight, its just never going to happen. Like Lewis, Im just happy to sit back knowing I was the man in my day, & Its time to sit back & enjoy everyone else slugging it out to be the big character on ESB while I grow old, fat & grey:deal

Its true fellas, sadly enough. I have officially retired as brit ESB's no1 bad guy, trust me.
I been entertaining the masses for years here & its took its toll, I simply cannot be arsed arguing anymore.
